The library location link directly above works but not the calendar. ### 2/5 — Great Library, Frustrating Login Issues *2025-05-07, version 2025.1* I truly love the Long Beach Public Library and everything it offers—the staff is excellent, the programs are enriching, and the range of resources is outstanding. However, the login system needs serious improvement. Whether using the app or logging in through a browser on a computer, the system often fails to recognize the correct barcode and PIN. I even called the library and had my passcode reset. It worked once, then stopped working again shortly after. This makes it difficult to access my account or manage checkouts, which is disappointing considering how great the library itself is. I really hope the technical issues are resolved soon so the digital experience matches the quality of the in-person services. ### 2/5 — Was great until a month or so ago *2017-02-23, version 4.68* Trouble logging in, and if you do get it is boots you off after about a minute or two. The barcode feature is cool and placing books on hold is a breeze. My only problem with the service is it has yet to save my checkout history!! 😭 I check out a lot of books and often so it would be nice to see my history (even some graphs or classifications of the info RE: checkouts would be so cool).
