The Long Goodbye keeps your person on the screens you both see most. Your handwriting lands on their home-screen widget, and on their lock screen once they add a one-time Shortcut. Their clock sits on your lock screen, and a countdown ticks down to the day you're finally together again. It's not another chat app to keep up with. I love the idea of this for my bestie and me, and I love the no-frills or bells and whistles approach. Tap a thing and the companion app’s widget lights up. But, we tried it and kept getting errors. If only it worked…

**Developer response:** Hi Euroflower — you were right, and I'm sorry. The errors weren't anything you did: a bug on our side broke pairing when you and your bestie
both tapped each other's invite links, and the app wrongly showed it as a server error. That's fixed as of version 1.1.2, along with photos and
audio postcards not loading and iOS notifications not arriving. If you're willing to give it another try, email dev@adelyons.com and I'll add a
free month of Together+ for you both — one grant covers the two of you. Thank you for the kind words about the idea; I'd love for the app to
