Grundsätzlich gefällt mir die App sehr gut. Insbesondere die Anbindung an die Apple Watch finde ich gut gelungen. Beim Testen der Fernsicht habe ich Zweifel: man wird zwar aufgefordert, eine Entfernung einzugeben, die Bildschirmdiagonale spielt jedoch keine Rolle. Mit einem großen Bildschirm ergibt sich somit aus meiner Sicht eine trügerische Sehstärke von 200%. Anmerkung: ich habe den Sehtest mittels AirPlay auf einem TV Bildschirm. durchgeführt.

Insgesamt ist es eine sehr gute App und nahezu alles funktioniert und ist mit vielen Erläuterungen bestückt. Leider funktioniert der Sehtest über die Apple Watch nicht. Gegebenenfalls kann das mit einem Update korrigiert werden.

Eine saubere, klar und einfach zu nutzende App um eine Überprüfung seiner Sehfähigkeiten zu überprüfen. Toll gemacht.
Wenn man sich jetzt noch seine Ergebnisse als Datei (pdf) ausgeben lassen kann, dann sind 5Sterne fällig. (-:

Nette App zum schnellen Selbsttest. Wirklich brauchbar sind die Zahlen nicht denke ich da ich mit verschiedenen Personen aus Spass getestet habe und oft exakt die selben zahlen herauskamen, aber trotzdem eine gute App.

Der Fernsehtest braucht allerdings ein Update da er die App abstürzt sobald man die App auf der watch öffnet (Apple watch 2 + iPhone xs max falls das hilft)

Eine sehr gute App! Ein schnellverständliches Hilfsmittel, um jederzeit selbst zu testen, wie es um die eigene Sehschärfe steht. Bei Wiederholung und Anlegung einer persönlichen Chronik kann man gut eine Tendenz erkennen und selbst prüfen, wann der Gang zum Arzt und Optiker wieder nötig ist!

My vision changes a lot, so this app is really helpful for checking if your prescription is still valid without having to make an ophthalmologist's appointment. Very nice design, easy to use, has never crashed on me. Highly recommended!

Bereits der erste Sehtest funktioniert nicht. Die Symbole zucken wild auf dem Bildschirm herum, es kommt immer wieder der Hinweis, man solle auf den Bildschirm schauen – was ich mache. Dann wieder der Hinweis, der Kopf sei zu nah. Mehr, als meinem Arm vollkommen auszustrecken, kann ich nicht! Wird wieder gelöscht, null Sterne wären angemessen, aber nicht möglich.

Mit Version 3.0.5 und auch die neueste Version 3.0.6. 
Ein Stern ist noch zu viel

Don’t download this app. First of all, it’s completely inaccurate! I know 100% that my vision is 20/30 with my glasses on in my left eye but when I took one of the tests and it said I had 2/50 and then I take another one and get 20/20. And not only is it inaccurate, but it’s also annoying. There’s a test to see if your near-sided, (which I already knew I wasn’t, I’m far-sided), and first of all, it gives you all these things you have to do written in small text but tells you to take off your glasses and even when you have your glasses off it still tells you you need to take them off, but not only that, just to read that I had to have someone help me! Finally, in the test it tells you that your either to close or to far away. But it doesn’t work. I tried it and when your too far away and you bring it closer, it says your too close! And when it says your to close and you move it farther it says that your too far away! I deleted the app after a frustrating experience. (By the way, the other tests are very hard and frustrating too, just not as much.)

The app was built and tested together with an ophthalmologist and is used in a clinical environment on a daily basis. Therefore it is a little bit hard for us to reproduce why you got different results in your test. Thank you for your comment on the interface. We will work to improve the interface further to use less text in the future. It is still important to read the text fully in order to understand the instruction to do everything right. If you like you could also use the reading out loud function in our settings in the meantime. About the distance measurement: The measurement was built to get a correct result. It tries to keep you not too close to the test, so that you can't cheat. Maybe try moving the phone slower during the test when it tells you how to move the phone. This is a great application for patients and there should be a big market for it, unfortunately, the 32,000 optometrists in the US would be recommending patients see their "ophthalmologist or optician" with this app.  Kudos to the creator of the app but due to the pop ups that recommend further evaluation excluding optometry, myself and 32,000 others will have to forego recommending the app.  Recommendation to the creator would be to include optometry and thus increase your market and provide patients with non-political recommendations.  We look forward to the inclusion of optometry.  At that point the app will receive 5 stars, but as an optometrist this app will remain 1 star.

Wenn man in die Suche im App Store Dioptrie eingibt, bekommt man diese App vorgeschlagen. Leider hilft sie Nicht eine grobe Dioptrie Zaubermitteln. Man bekommt nur eine Prozent zahl wie die Sehkraft ist.

can’t do the distance test using the Apple Watch. It keeps freezing and then shutting down the app on the iPhone. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t help.

Ich finde die App super hilfreich. Natürlich ersetzt sie keinen Besuch beim Optiker oder Augenarzt. Leider stürzt die App sofort ab sobald man die Apple Watch zur Entfernungsmessung benutzt (Iphone 15 ProMax und Apple Watch Series 10). Wenn das gefixt ist gibts auch 5 Sterne.

Gute App, liefert gute Vergleichsdaten zum qualitativen Vergleich mit älteren Wetten in der Chronik. 
Ich benutze sie für die Entscheidung zu den richtigen Kontaktlinsen. Dabei wäre es schön, wenn 
- für bifokale bzw. Multifocal Linsen die Tests mit beiden Augen gleichzeitig vorhersehen würden (nur Kosmetik, die Prüfung ist auch so möglich), und 
-in der Chronik des Amsler Tests beim ab- und einschalten alter Werte die Farben konstant bleiben würden. Ist so leicht verwirrend.
Ansonsten eine gute App, um Vergleiche über die Zeit vorzunehmen...

Every other fully featured eye test app is either paid with a monthly fee or filled to the brim with ads. 

Glad to not only have a straightforward app that does what it says on the tin without unnecessarily trying to become a subscription service. 

Very impressed with the ‘far distance test’ ease of use connecting with computer via browser! Other developers would surely have paywalled that feature- but this dev doesn’t try and nickel and dime you for keeping track of your eye health!

Man kann jeder Zeit testen und es kostet nichts! 
Ein Gesichtsfeldtest wäre natürlich noch das i-tüpfelchen, lässt sich aber sicher schwer realisieren auf dem Iphone.

Sehr tolle App, die alles mitbringt um die eigenen Augen mit Hilfe diverser Tests zu überprüfen – gut durchdacht, schön gestaltet und einfach zu verwenden.

Es gab zwar ein kleines Problem mit der App auf der Watch aber nach einem Hinweis an die Entwickler, wird schon an einer Lösung gearbeitet.

Wenn man nun noch die Ergebnisse in der Health App speichern könnte, wäre das natürlich super – aber hier müsste Apple wohl erst einmal eine Möglichkeit schaffen.
