Für das gute Design, einmal zahlen okay, aber so fehlen noch Alternativen bei den Datenquellen. Und trotz des Probeabo wird kein Widget angezeigt. Leider sagt die App, dass es den ganzen Tag bewölkt ist. Die Realität an meinem Standort ist jedoch, dass schon den ganzen Tag über keine einzige Wolke am Himmel ist und die Sonne scheint. Daher ist die App so leider derzeit nicht hilfreich. ### 5/5 — Richtig toll *2024-05-10* Ich gebe zu, ich habe diverse Wetter Apps. Von simple bis Datenflut ist alles dabei. Diese App hat es mir richtig angetan, weil das Widget und auch die App selbst auf einen Blick alles sagt was ich wissen muss. Und das optisch super aufbereitet. Ich werde gerne Abonnent. Vielen Dank an die Entwickler. Weiter so. P.S.: Und ja. Schade, wäre schön wenn es auch hier klappen würde, da es eigentlich eine Superapp ist und fünf Sterne verdienen würde. Und da die Daten eh von Apple stammen , braucht man diese App nicht . ### 2/5 — Close, but doesn’t know the difference between clouds and wind *2026-06-07* When I got it, Looks Like Rain became the first weather app I looked at. I loved it. It was quick and easy to find out weather conditions. But as springtime came to Oklahoma usually the only thing I can see on the clear/cloudy bar is “windy.” (It’s windy in Oklahoma in the springtime…) As an astronomer, I need to know if it’s going to be clear or cloudy. Yes, wind is important too, but THERE IS A SEPARATE TAB SPECIFICALLY FOR WIND! Don’t tell me it’s windy on the clear/cloudy tab also! I’ll still give this two stars, as aside from this issue, I love it. But as of now, it’s the last weather app I look at, not the first. I will not be renewing my subscription unless they correct this issue. I submitted feedback to the company on this, but haven’t heard anything from them, nor have they changed anything. Just a forecast of “windy” everywhere I look in the app. ### 2/5 — Could be good.. *2024-05-18* Nice visualisation of precipitation and cloudiness but other important info is missing altogether or deprioritised too much. Wind speed is only available in km/h with no way of changing the units. And on the timeline display the wind arrows only show direction, nothing else, you have to touch the arrow to see mean speed and gust speed… It feels like work in progress and may be worth subscribing to in future if the app is developed. - it could be good if other wx info was colour coded and displayed in the same way eg, wind strength, aqi, humidity and info like tides included but for £10 a year subscription you would expect a bit more I think,,,, ### 2/5 — Was wird hier vorhergesagt? *2024-04-27* Was sollen die Wolken- und Sonne-Icons bzw. farblichen Bänder anzeigen? Die Bewölkung und der Sonnenschein kann es ja nicht sein. Leider ohne gefühlte Temperatur und abschaltbare Wetterwarnungen. Beim gelben Farbschema sieht klarer Himmel sinnigerweise nach Sonne aus, ist dann unsinnigerweise aber auch nachts gelb eingefärbt. Besser wäre eine andere Farbe für klaren Nachthimmel und generell ein Dimmen der Nachtstunden, was die Tageszeiten nochmal übersichtlicher machen würde. But Looks Like Rain has become the weather app I open first. It is simple to use and gives me the fastest look at weather conditions of all my apps. For a quick check of the conditions now, and over the next week, this is the best. I paid for the pro version and have half a dozen locations I frequent saved now. What do they mean? If you go off and google what they mean … they don’t mean what you think they mean. This app is different.
