## What is Loom?

Your life is not a to-do list.

When goals, habits, plans, notes, and daily actions are scattered across different tools, it is easy to stay busy without feeling in control. Loom brings them together in one guided life management system, connecting the direction you want your life to take with the areas you want to continually improve, the outcomes you want to achieve, and the actions you can take now.

HOW LOOM WORKS

- Purpose: Define your larger Vision, then explore four Passion lenses: what you love, what you are committed to, what excites you, and what you refuse to tolerate. Together, they create a lasting compass for the life you want to build.

- Fulfillment Areas: Create 3-7 areas you want to continually improve, such as health, career, relationships, or wealth. Give each area a Mission, an Identity to live into, supporting Passions, and Little Wins. Fulfillment Areas are continually strengthened, not completed.

- Goals: Define a specific outcome, why it matters, when it begins, its target date, and the Fulfillment Area it supports. Add a measurable target when numbers would make progress clearer.

- Projects: Organize larger results into milestones and the actions required to reach them. Give each milestone a date range, connect the work that moves it forward, and see how the full result develops over time.

- Action Plans: Turn captured actions into focused weekly execution. Define the Result you are committed to, connect the relevant Fulfillment Area, Identity, and Goals, then rank the actions that matter most as Musts.

- Little Wins: Strengthen important areas through small, repeatable actions. Little Wins build consistency without mixing recurring behaviors into your finite task list.

- Capture: Save new actions before they are lost, then add them to an Action Plan when you are ready to organize and act on them.

- Reflection: Close an Action Plan by reviewing the Result, recognizing progress, and deciding what to complete, reschedule, revise, or carry forward.

- LoomAI: Get help clarifying Goals, drafting Action Plans, suggesting Little Wins, rewriting notes, and exploring priorities using the context already in Loom. You review and approve what enters your system.

WHY LOOM IS DIFFERENT

Most productivity apps are designed to help you keep track of more. Loom helps you decide what deserves your time and make your effort count.

Loom creates a clear line from the life you want to the actions you take today. When everything feels important, Loom helps you stop reacting to whatever feels most urgent, choose what matters now, and keep one demanding part of life from taking over everything else.

Instead of piecing together a task manager, goal planner, habit tracker, notes app, journal, and disconnected AI chats, Loom gives each part a meaningful place in one connected system. You do not just collect tasks. You can understand why they matter, what they support, and whether your daily actions are moving your life in the right direction.

For complex actions, add execution details such as dates, duration, status, people, places, notes, links, and attachments. Optionally use permitted Apple Health signals with supported Goals and Little Wins, keep progress close with widgets, and share assigned actions through Loom in Messages.

Research on goal setting, implementation intentions, and habit formation informs Loom's design. These studies did not evaluate Loom, and Loom does not promise clinical or guaranteed outcomes.

Loom requires an in-app purchase for continued access. Monthly, annual, and lifetime options are available through the App Store.

End stress. Live fulfilled.

### 3/5 — Not for me

*2026-08-23*

What I liked: connecting to-dos with a “why” and an identity. This was great and felt really good to do when setting up.

What I didn’t like: seeing only one task at a time sent me into a panic (“quick wins”) because I didn’t have the context I usually have to mentally prioritize. There may be ways I can manage priority in the app, but they weren’t immediately obvious to me, so I didn’t use them, and likely wouldn’t use them if they weren’t right in my face. Also my quick wins, to-dos, and action plans didn’t seem to be connected, so it was harder to prioritize those against one another. Finally, I use large text on my iPhone, and the UI doesn’t work well. It feels cluttered and disorienting, and some buttons get buried underneath other sections.

### 5/5 — Good app if you are motivated to set life goals!

*2026-04-22*

This app can really organize your life goals and to celebrate little wins along the way. As AI is getting advanced everyday, it is used to support users in the app to give them a full assisted experience. Loom features an AI assistant to manage your goals and to give you recommendations to help reach to those goals. Great app!!

### 5/5 — Super organized

*2026-04-22*

Loom is honestly a really helpful app for me to keep my life together. It’s super easy to use and doesn’t feel confusing or overwhelming like other apps. It helps me focus on my top goals and tasks when I feel like there’s a million of them. Everything is in one place which makes staying organized way easier instead of downloading 4 different apps. It takes a little bit of time to figure out how implement the app to your advantage, but once you get in the hang of it, it’s definitely worth it!
