Until you use it *2025-01-02, version 3.9.2* I’m still staring at a white screen after having added a 10 image photo album. I hate apps and companies who release products with virtually no instructions and arrogantly think their product is intuitive when it isn’t. (Google, I’m also looking at you!) I am a tech trainer at a company and it failed. ### 3/5 — Needs work *2024-12-26, version 3.9.2* Concept is great and basic functionality is fine but major UX improvements needed. For example, you can’t move a photo from one album to another. Instead you would have to delete and re-add it. If you’re adding a bunch of photos from your phone album at once, you can’t put them in different albums. You have to put them in one album. If you are going to put a bunch of selected photos into an album and go back, you lose all of your selections and have to start over. I could go on and on… ### 3/5 — OK but lacks functionality *2024-09-28, version 3.8* The app is ok at what it does, though the set up with FamilyAlbum was very clunky and complicated. Also, I would really appreciate an iOS widget as well as integration with iOS shortcuts to be able to turn off the frame remotely and integrate it into my other smart home workflows. ### 2/5 — Landscape view missing *2024-06-13, version 3.8* Seriously, get a landscape view. Your frames have one.. ### 3/5 — Frame is cool, app is lacking *2023-12-27, version 3.7* The app needs work. It’s too basic. I want to know who has pending invitations. When I invite someone to an album it reads “pending” but that changes back to “share”. It should remain pending so we know what’s been sent. When I have a badge notification and open the app there’s no indication of the activity. This was marketed that it is as simple as texting a photo. That’s not true, an account and an app are required. Edit: Finding additional problems as we use it. We need the ability to delete people or to stop sharing with a particular person. This needs to be resolved immediately! If you accidentally share an album, it’s impossible to fix the mistake. Or say someone is no longer a part of your life/family, but they still have access to your family photos and the ability to add to them. Not good. Please update with this functionality asap. ### 2/5 — Borderline Horrible App *2021-12-24, version 3.6* Boy, good luck trying to get added to anything or add someone else. For some people it works fine and others it does not. This should be the easiest part but it’s far from it. Oh and customer support is awful. Takes at least a week and only after I kept badgering them I gave it two stars because it’s a good looking frame and when it does what it’s supposed to, it works well. Other than that, it’s trying my patience ### 3/5 — Seemed great for a few minutes... *2021-02-20, version 3.3* I just got my Loop2. It was easy to set up, connecting to wifi and adding pictures and channels. It seemed great. Then I sent an invite to my brother, and he can’t join. The link had him download the app and the it said to go back and click the link in the original email. It became an endless loop. There is no user manual for the loop2 that I have been able to find. I can’t add family. It’s just a personal frame. I hope we see a manual for loop2. ### 3/5 — Was great...now the app won’t open at all *2020-08-19, version 3.2* I downloaded the update today. Now the app won’t open at all. This is an expensive device..too expensive for it not to work properly. We’ve had it for two months and we Love it. Troubleshooting steps do not work. I get errors every single step of the way. I’ve yet to successfully upload a single photo that then also shows on my frame. Do not buy. Especially nice for them to easily stay in touch especially now with them not being able to visit with the Covid SARS 2 debacle. Nice gift to buy for your older relatives who are not technically savvy to allow them an easy way to “stay in touch” and enjoy their love ones.
