## What is LoopBook?

Slow down a tricky passage, loop it, and get it right.

LoopBook is a music practice tool for musicians who want to work on difficult sections of songs, solos, lessons, and recordings.

Import your own audio or video and create precise A/B practice loops. Set the start and end points, slow down the music without changing pitch, shift the pitch when you need to, and repeat a section for as long as it takes to nail it.

Each track can contain multiple named loops, so you can keep all the sections you're working on together — a tricky bridge, solo, chord change, bass line, or anything else you want to practise. Jump straight back to any saved section whenever you practise.

KEEP YOUR PRACTICE ORGANISED

LoopBook is more than an audio looper. Build a library of the music you're working on, with your loops, notes and practice materials all kept together.

Add notes to remind yourself what to focus on and attach a chart, sheet music, lyric sheet or other reference material.

SHARE WITH TEACHERS AND BANDMATES

Share a complete LoopBook track — including the audio, practice loops, notes and attachments — as one file.

It's ideal for music teachers sending exercises or tricky passages to students, or musicians sharing practice material with bandmates.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.6 — 2026-10-01

Playback keeps going when you move a loop marker, unless the playhead ends up outside the new range.
YouTube captions are hidden.

### 1.1.5 — 2026-09-29

Fixed an issue where tapping "back to start" (or seeking) on a YouTube clip right after entering fullscreen could do nothing. The playback position now applies as soon as the fullscreen player is ready.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-09-28

LoopBook has a fresh new design. The app has been redesigned to make your practice library clearer, faster to scan, and more enjoyable to use. Browse audio, video, and YouTube practice material in a cleaner library, see your loops at a glance with waveform previews, and focus on the sections that matter.
We’ve also refreshed the LoopBook Pro upgrade experience, with a clearer overview of unlimited clips, loops, notes, and sharing—all unlocked with a one-time purchase and no subscription.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-09-26

LoopBook 1.1.3 improves importing and playback.
- Add audio and video directly from Share or Open With.
- Resume playback from where you paused.
- Improved Play/Pause controls.
- General reliability and usability improvements.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-22

Fixed iPad drag-to-reorder in the track list
Fixed rename/manage tags/delete not opening reliably on iPad
Fixed tag filter getting stuck after deleting the last tagged track
Fixed manage-tags changes being lost if you swiped the sheet away instead of tapping Done
Fixed a brief unwanted flash of video/audio when switching YouTube loops
