The app locked me out of my calculator (??) and then wouldn’t even let me check the weather. Also, the “soothing notification chime” it advertises is literally the sound of a smoke alarm. I nearly had a panic attack thinking my kitchen was on fire. After two days, my screen time doubled because I spent hours arguing with the app. Mission accomplished, I guess? ### 2/5 — It doesn’t work *2025-09-16, version 4* I love the idea and as soon as it gets fixed I’m all in, but the app doesn’t work. Whatever bug this is y’all gotta fix it. I’ll be scrolling for 15 minutes before i realize the app is supposed to be blocked! ### 4/5 — I like the app, but the update made things worse *2025-09-20, version 4* I downloaded this app per the recommendation of a comment under Hank Green’s focus app. I appreciate that this app doesn’t have ads or a premium feature. But I noticed that the new up date changed the way my apps are blocked. Before, the app would block my social media without me even having to go into the app, but now with the new update, the app doesn’t block anything unless i physically go into the app first. This is a little annoying because I usually end up forgetting to open the app, and end up spending all day on my phone, which is NOT what I want to do. Also, I understand the “Keep the commitments you make” philosophy behind the exclusion of a delete button, but I have time blocks that overlap each other and would like to delete the duplicate ones in favor of the more recent versions of the blocks that i created to fit my schedule. Overall, I would definitely recommend this app for anyone who has issues with attention discipline. When it does work, it’s very helpful (and honestly kinda life changing) thank you :) I hope you are able to fix the first bug I talked about soon!
