### 4/5 — Love it but glitches when freeze

*2022-11-06, version 1.0*

Fantastic app. When using it in Cubasis I tried to freeze a track I sequenced the remixes via midi. It froze the track correctly but when I unfrozen the track Loopmix lost all my remix sequences. It’s probably an easy fix I hope to see in the next update.

### 5/5 — Many possibilities

*2022-11-04, version 1.0*

This is a very interesting app, especially for jamming and performance. Going thru the manual, I see I’ve only scratched the surface. I love the poly mode! Randomization feature is really nice. As I like to do more ambient stuff, it would be nice to have fade in and out option on steps. Also, not sure if possible, the ability to add FXs on a per track basis. I’d never leave the app if I had more control! Drag and drop files are a must!

### 1/5 — Crash after crash after crash

*2023-06-28, version 1.1.2*

Refund please, it’s utterly terrible

### 1/5 — Won’t sync properly with beatmaker3.

*2022-11-12, version 1.0.2*

Some samples Out of sync with beatmaker3 as AUV3. Stand-alone crackling, unusable when another music app is open. I’m sure there are tons of other issues I’ll soon discover.

### 2/5 — Novelty wore off

*2024-03-26*

Bought the mac version too. Expensive.

### 2/5 — Completely missing randomization for timing on playback

*2023-04-22, version 1.1.1*

Audiomodern has missed probably the most important feature for creating living, breathing rhythm tracks in all of their software. Without randomization for timing on playback, you’re ultimately just randomizing sample arrangements with the same old stiff timing. This miss seems to be on all of Audiomodern’s software. It’s such a huge miss, and tragic. The code required to simply have a dial to randomize delay timing in milliseconds could be written in no time. Such a shame. Randomization without humanization is just bizarre. Cornflakes without milk, anyone?

### 2/5 — Crash bang wallop

*2023-02-04, version 1.0.2*

Lots of potential, but crashing on my Air 4, most notably when importing my own audio. Other than that, really like it.

2 months later: no fixes or updates, still crashes pretty much every time I’ve used it, another star removed.

### 3/5 — Concerns

*2024-12-09*

I use several other Audiomodern apps and love the mix of user/user augmentation throughout. I have not been able to download the loop library and went online only to find four smaller libraries available, one that isn’t found by the program.

I was hoping to work with a substantial library until I could upload my own loops. I’ve been trying but haven’t had much luck so far. Once I sort out what the problem is I’m sure I’ll enjoy Loopmix as much as Playbeat and Riffer.

### 4/5 — Great app, packs a pain to get

*2023-06-30, version 1.1.2*

Drag and drop import from Files has transformed the functionality of the app. Now it is not only a creative delight, and much more useful because it is more useable. Bravo. Unfortunately, there is still the absurdity of having to buy expansion packs separately from the developer’s website, as opposed to the normal way of purchasing from within the app. If I can’t use my App Store credits to buy such things then I can’t be bothered.

### 4/5 — Nooooooooooo!

*2022-11-25, version 1.0.2*

I was just chopping a masterpiece and this thing crashed on me! It wasn’t even that big, please fix thissssss ahhh that sucks…. I love this app, I bought it for both iPad and to use on windows but this can’t happen…… I don’t want to be terrified of using this

### 4/5 — So many possibilities.

*2022-11-15, version 1.0.2*

So many options, well put together app.
Could really use an add folder option for importing your own samples or at least a way to preview them / drag and drop.

### 4/5 — Great app but…

*2022-11-07*

Desperately need drag and drop on iOS. Video tutorial shows this capability but doesn’t work on iOS so far. Super necessary. Other than this - fantastico!

### 5/5 — This One is a Blast!

*2026-01-17, version 1.1.8*

I’ve had this one for a while. I never got around to learning the interface and forgot I had it… until it just got updated. I took another look after spending time with their excellent Playbeat 4 app. That one has a similar interface logic and since I’m now more familiar with Playbeat 4, this one was easier to pick up. Wow! This one is REALLY fun! It comes with nice starter packs, but there are another 4 packs that are all fantastic on their site and free! Glad I dove back into this one. :) Highly Recommended!

### 5/5 — Great

*2024-12-21, version 1.1.6*

Works as I hoped, lots of fun. Typical Audiomodern quality.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2023-08-10*

I love this and use it all the time. It’s so versatile and allows me to be creative in new ways. Love love love the factory presets especially future beats and love making my own .

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2023-06-10*

Not understanding the low reviews, I love this as much as Playbeat . So fun and helps me create and finish tracks and remixes.

### 5/5 — Nice!

*2023-02-11, version 1.1.0*

Super quick multi stem mashup with lots of flexibility. very nice!

### 5/5 — Great inspiration

*2022-12-23, version 1.0.2*

This is a fantastic app to get ideas started musically. If you can get a nice drum groove laid out quickly everything else falls into place, it’s easy to get the bass, next the pads and then leads, etc.

All that becomes easier to do when you have a great sounding drum pattern that you’ve made your own using loops but you’ve got this playbeat app really getting it freaking cut into some cool stuff.

The app comes with hundreds of fantastic free loops, this is the starting point for any beginning musician on iOS. However if you have a lot of experience creating music don’t skip this it is instantly fast inspiration to get your tracks rolling and Allows an impressive amount of ridiculous customization to chop, mangle, and re-create the loopsInto your own sonic perfection.

### 5/5 — WoW the best one

*2022-12-20, version 1.0.2*

WoW it's the best application of the year 2022 congratulations and thank you 5 stars +++

### 5/5 — Fun and powerful

*2022-11-08, version 1.0.2*

Very impressive. Great library too. The devs have thought of everything.

5-stars even though it’s crashed a few times in AUM, (its early days so that can be forgiven).

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2022-11-08, version 1.0.2*

Had a small amount of bother trying to download the factory set, kept failing but worked on about the 8th try. But since then it’s just been nothing but joy. Especially brilliant for UK garage style vocal clips, Amen breaks and all the rest of the breaks…
You can get a lot more inventive with it, though, if you diversify it’s sample diet. Feed it weird things ;)
