### 4/5 — Good. Does what it should.

*2014-11-07, version 1.4.3*

Good app, plays even fairly large videos back smoothly.

I would like it if I could scrub from a full screen video instead of only a part screen video.

There's a small glitch where sometimes the app doesn't show you your videos. I found that switching to portrait mode and back to landscape fixes this.

### 1/5 — Doesn't Work At All

*2012-05-28, version 1.2.4*

Application is worthless. Doesn't work at all, with no instruction at all for how to do anything. Total rip off...

### 1/5 — Thinus

*2012-05-16, version 1.2.3*

Downloaded and paid for this but it doesnt work!!!
Ripoff

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2012-01-29, version 1.2.2*

This app was confused about it's intended purpose. Did not work, will not work and still hasn't worked.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2012-01-05, version 1.2.2*

This app does not work on a fully updated iPad 2. Tried installing twice. No options and no videos show.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2011-11-11, version 1.2.1*

Didn't pull from photo album. Waste of money.

### 4/5 — Full featured

*2011-10-29, version 1.2.1*

App looped as promised, supports video out both to external monitor/projector and to send audio simultaneously over wifi.

I believe the only thing missing was iPad control of scrubbing while video plays over a connected external monitor. But this app worked great for me.

It would be great if the app had access to the videos already on the iPad, though.

### 2/5 — output is horrible

*2011-10-23, version 1.2.1*

i cannot find correct output settings for video to stretch to fill the screen. prior to iOS 5 i was able to loop video externally via slideshow from photos…this method would stretch video correctly, however this app doesn't seem to do so…i've tried several different dimensions and can't seem to fill the screen.

### 1/5 — App should be removed

*2011-09-03, version 1.2*

You might wonder if it's really as bad as they say. $3 later I can confirm it is nonfunctional.

### 4/5 — Exactly what I needed; works exactly as advertised

*2011-08-18, version 1.1.3*

I suspect that the reviewers who say this doesn't work at all don't realize that you have to sync videos to this app SEPARATELY from syncing videos to the iPad. In other words, content in your iPad's "Videos" won't show up in this app.

BUT, once you sync content for the app (using iTunes) this baby works exactly as advertised. There aren't any special bells and whistles (hence the 4 instead of 5 stars), but I needed an app that will loop video TO AN EXTERNAL DISPLAY (something many of the competing apps don't do, I've found), and this does it.

### 1/5 — Bad app!!

*2011-08-01, version 1.1.3*

I downloaded it and does not work what a waste of money!!!!!

### 4/5 — It works once I used iTunes to download file to this app.

*2011-05-24, version 1.1.3*

This worked very well once I understood the directions. I plugged the iPad into iTunes and went to APPs menu, scrolled down to the bottom and selected Loop video and then selected the files on the mac to download to the iPad. All works quite well. Well, with one odd problem, the music loops at a different periodicity than the video, so there are odd quiet times.

I probably would have gotten bored with the repetitious music anyway...

### 4/5 — Does not show video II

*2011-05-13, version 1.1.3*

I had originally intended to post "Does not recognize videos". However, another reviewer described the method of loading videos to the app. In itunes, must select the device, such as "iPad" then click the "App" tab. From here, you can select the app and then files to share. "Add" the video you want to load into the app. Works great after that.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not enough and crashes

*2015-05-20, version 1.5.1*

This app can't import from Dropbox or iMovie, or Keynote and crashes every time I go to settings and try to toggle the one option.

Shame on me for downloading.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2014-06-24, version 1.4.2*

Don't waste your money, won't open.
Asking for refund

### 1/5 — DOES NOT LOOP VIDEOS

*2014-01-15, version 1.4.1*

This app does not loop videos.

### 1/5 — Doesn't loop

*2013-12-13, version 1.4.1*

Like the others said. A looping app that doesn't actually loop.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2013-11-30, version 1.4.1*

No instructions on how to use. I could not figure out how to loop anything

### 1/5 — doesnt loop at all

*2013-11-06, version 1.4.1*

this app is worthless...it doesnt loop anything....it plays a video and then stops...waste of money

### 1/5 — Crap

*2013-10-31, version 1.4.1*

Doesn't do anything. Waste of money

### 1/5 — Missing the most important feature

*2013-10-16, version 1.4.1*

Allows you to choose external display resolution which is good, but doesn't actually, you know... Loop videos.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2013-09-22, version 1.40*

App doesn't actually loop video. Videos only play once. What a waste of money.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2013-09-20, version 1.40*

This app does not have any instructions, nor does it allow you to add videos.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Well worth it

*2016-10-08, version 1.5.4*

This App did exactly what I needed. Created an HD iMovie slide show for a special occasion and needed to loop/repeat it. Wasted time with the "free apps" that compressed the video and didn't work. Wish I started with this first..

### 5/5 — A MUST HAVE

*2014-10-31, version 1.4.3*

The app works. All you have to do is add the video file through iTunes file sharing. I've tried many other similar apps but none function like this one. I would just like to ask for an update to an iOS 8 user interface. The only negative that I've found is the password lock feature which has a bug that will not let me input a password when the passcode tab is selected. The app asks for a passcode but there is no way to input anything due to the fact that no keyboard is visible or pops up. One of the reasons that I purchased this app was the ability to have a passcode lock so please fix ASAP.

### 5/5 — Great Video Looping App!

*2012-09-22, version 1.3.1*

This is the best of the breed for video looping apps.

I downloaded several others and was disappointed when it came to playing the video using AirPlay. This app really shines and stands alone when playing video on an external HD display using AirPlay. It plays full screen, full frame just like the native video player in iOS… with the awesome benefit of looping the video.

Not sure why so many others have given it a single star??? I loaded up some m4v (h264) videos using the "add" button under the File Sharing section at the bottom of the app screen in iTunes. Worked first time out without a hitch.

This is perfect for trade show and kiosk applications. Best $2 I've spent on an app in quite a while.

### 5/5 — Works beautifully!

*2012-07-22, version 1.2.4*

This app does EXACTLY what it claims to - it loops mp4 videos (such as from iMovie), supports display to an external monitor, and utilizes the full screen (for the dimensions the movie was generated for.) I downloaded 5 different video loop apps and this was the ONLY one to meet my needs. It was perfect for looping my movie automatically - making it a hit for our anniversary celebration! Thank you to the developer!!

### 5/5 — Read the positive reviews

*2011-09-26, version 1.2*

It is really unfortunate that this application has received so many negative reviews. I was tempted to suggest RTFM, but there is no manual. Lack of clear documentation is the only fault, so here it is!

After reading through *all* the reviews (good and bad), it was clear that a slightly different approach was needed to get the movies into the app/onto the iPad. I was used to clicking and dragging groups of movies onto the iPad "connection" in the far left column. Although this approach loads the movies so they can be played from the video icon, LoopVideoPlayer doesn't "see" them. I was equally frustrated and was ready to give a one star review. DO NOT USE SYNC MOVIES!!. Click on the iPad name in the left column, select the apps tab and SCROLL DOWN! You will see the icons for the applications on the left and a window for "add" on the right. Click and drag your MP4s into this window and they will then appear in the files column on the left hand side of teh screen. "Touch" the video you want looped and away you go control over screen (full, window, letterbox) & control over playback speed. Once the movies are loaded, it is totally intuitive. I should have been able to figure this out as it's the same way Powerpoint presentations are loaded into Keynote on the iPad.

Our company produces high quality video clips for orthodontic patient education. The ability to drive a monitor and loop samples of these movies is a major advantage at trade shows/conferences. Multiple WMVs can be spliced in Windows Live Movie Maker, annotated, etc, saved as one movie and converted to an MP4. It is perfect for kiosk presentation. Anyone giving a negative review would likely change their iTune (sorry!) if they see the program in action. A big atta boy to the developer. Just provide some instruction on loading the videos.

### 5/5 — Worked great !

*2011-09-13, version 1.2*

I had a big event where I needed to loop our marketing video and couldn't find a good player that would work on an external monitor (flat-screen television). I bought this figuring that for $2 it was a safe bet. Well the app worked perfectly. After installing the app, I went into iTunes and loaded the video file into the app itself (not through iTunes). At the event I connected my iPad to the television, started the app, picked my resolution and then the video. It just worked great.

### 5/5 — Will Work if u read 8

*2011-07-24, version 1.1.3*

I was confused at first with the scroll within the apps tab in iTunes. Once I understood not to scroll the apps themselves there, but rather the scroll bar on the right hand side of the screen. That takes you down to other controls where you click on "Loop Video" then add the file from your computer. I tried a Quick Time .mov and it worked, but not well. I converted it to both .MP4 and M4V. Those both worked great. So understanding the user instructions makes it work. I wish the developer would hire a translator or at least use a translator program and give proper instructions.

### 5/5 — This program does work

*2011-04-22, version 1.1.3*

I don't normally write reviews however this program needs one. The instructions are not very clear. The program does not pull video from your iPod / iTunes library. You add video to this program through the file sharing feature. Once your device is connected to iTunes go to your device then the apps tab. Scroll down and you will see where you can share files with programs. Load your videos there and the program works great.

### 5/5 — This app works great

*2011-04-21, version 1.1.3*

It was very easy and has excellent video output. A lifesaver if you want to loop video at an event to an external screen. I don't understand the negative reviews. Uploading was simple and it worked great.

### 5/5 — It worked fine for me

*2011-04-01, version 1.1.3*

I did not have any issues other people experienced with this application. I purchased it to have it loop a video presentation for a work project. I used HandBrake to create MP4 and m4v files which I have successfully played using LoopVideo Player. The application is very simple to use and was perfect for my needs.

I also tested both a VGA and HDMI video out adapters from Apple as well. Both this adapters worked very well with this application. My suggestion for other users is to make sure you encode your video files using the appropriate aspect ratio for an iPad.
