My only suggestion is to allow setting the size of the eraser so it is more precise. I often need to erase one number and end up erasing more. Thankful for the undo feature. ### 4/5 — Great open source note taking app! *2021-02-01, version 3.3.4* I was happy to see an open source note taking app, as that’s one of the largest use cases for my iPad, and didn’t want to use something closed source for a bulk of work or jotting down thoughts. I’m only giving it four stars as I see two features that could really help this app: have a RGB color selector for the pencil, similar to iOS markup on PDFs and images; and utilize a PDF as a paper template. To expand on the second feature: I imported an inverted college-ruled paper (with a black background) for night time writing. I saved it as a notebook but to have it as a template would be easier to duplicate. Also, that’s where the custom pen color option came from, as white isn’t available as a preset (for understandable reasons). ### 3/5 — Bleh *2020-09-24, version 3.3.4* Not the best, not the worst. 1. Does not rotate when you switch from portrait to landscape views 2. Cannot insert text box to type 3. The sidebar makes it a little tricky to write in the far left of the page. 4. Spero inoltre che in futuro implementino la possibilità di scrivere o disegnare zoomando la zona interessata, esportare alcune pagine selezionate per ogni “quaderno”, la modalità landscape, caselle di testo, molti più colori (per ora sono solo 5) e l’importazione di EPUB. One feature to consider.... Need to implement text so my notes are legible, neat, and orderly. ### 4/5 — Great scratch paper app! *2018-01-10, version 3.1.4* I’ve been looking for a scratch paper-type app for a while, to jot down math problems, story ideas, computer modification designs, etc. The other note taking apps I’ve tried were rather limited in functionality - for example, I couldn’t change the page type to be a grid, or lined. Another was that the other apps didn’t have pressure sensitivity for Apple Pencil. Both taken care of in this app! The biggest gripe I have with it is that it seems like the eraser is too sensitive, and there’s no manual size adjustment for it. On my iPad I have no way to delete projects, and then when I try to get to another project there is no way out of the current project! Bye! ### 1/5 — Once again... *2019-11-11, version 3.3.1* I have one clear and distinct complaint about your app. It is utterly and totally biased against left-handed people. I can’t write two words w/out sliding over a control button and suddenly I am on a new page, new color, I’ve inserted five pictures, etc. Writing with the left hand has always been problematic due to smearing the ink on my hand and the paper. Pushing buttons just does nothing until 30 to 60 seconds later and by that time you have already touched something else! Totally freezes up for longer periods. If this app is only meant to run on iPad Air 2 then state that! And it crashed during startup the second of three times I tried to use it. I wrote within an hour of downloading the app expressing my disappointment and requested a refund but got no reply. A few days later I wrote again but again I got no reply. The app is not as versatile tile as I was lead to believe by the description. ### 2/5 — No adjustable eraser *2019-06-19, version 3.3.1* This is a dealbreaker for me. I can’t tell you how many times in a meeting I have been taking notes and needed to erase a word only to have it to erase two or three lines of notes! Totally unacceptable. The pencil tool is adjustable, why not the eraser. I don’t think this app has ever been updated and until it is I will have to look elsewhere. ### 2/5 — Impractical for my needs *2019-05-22, version 3.3.1* I liked the idea of having “loose leaf” paper to use as scratch paper. However, this app suffers the same problem as other similar apps. For the vast majority of my time, I use my IPad in landscape mode, not portrait mode. When I open up this app, the screen does not rotate to accommodate the orientation of the iPad. I can still write in the app, but the menu icons do not adjust themselves and If I select a paper with lines, such as the notebook paper template, the lines are in portrait mode. Loose Leaf is the notepad I've been looking for, and it has all the features I need to take all my notebooks with me in the simple, easy, lightweight format of my iPad.
