### 4/5 — Bubble Pop Meets Diablo...

*2010-05-05, version 0*

The new Open Feint support is great although I think the dev needs to have achievement messages pop up on top of the screen and not covering crucial play areas!

What you see is what you get in this game. Tap on the hordes of beasties, collect the loot they drop, equip the best of it onto your paper doll, and repeat. While no rocket science it is still pretty darned fun.

### 3/5 — Awsome but.....

*2009-09-01, version 0*

Awsome game. But I'd like a difaculty select and load last or somthing. Maby work on the spell use. Last game I was verry far but died because the spell I was trying to use kept mooving as if I were trying to take it out of my inventory when I was actualy trying to use it. Other than that it is so awsome! More loot!

### 5/5 — Addictive looting

*2009-04-01, version 0*

With the save patch finally added. This tower defense with rpg elements is a lot of fun. The effects are simple with a WoW feel. Highly recommend

### 5/5 — Saving! Finally!

*2009-03-24, version 0*

Thanks devs. I'd just about given up on a save feature. But I do agree that it seems like the difficulty was amped up. I'll take that.

### 4/5 — Much needed update

*2009-03-23, version 0*

The much needed saving update has come finally. Now we won't feel like we are wasting our time everytime we start. As well it feels like the difficulty has been increased a little, can't say for certain. Either way, now that this game has the saving features, this now can feel worth the money spent. Not a bad overall game now! Nice job!

### 3/5 — Great ,but could be better with save option!

*2009-02-22, version 0*

Good idea, will be a ton better with a save option.

### 5/5 — Not what i expected

*2009-02-02, version 0*

I thought this looked like a cool tower defense game but as i found out it is not one. It is like a whole new kind of game and you will like it if you like TD games た

### 5/5 — TD with a WoW feel.

*2009-01-22, version 0*

Instead of upgrading towers you upgrade your gear like in WoW.

Can't wait for the update with the save feature and some more items.

### 4/5 — Great game but...

*2008-12-28, version 0*

I have so much fun playing this game. However, without a save function this game loses a lot of points in my opinion. If you are 5 hours into a game and someone calls you, you either take the call and lose your game or ignore it and find out later that your wife left work because she went into labor.

This game needs some kind of save function. Im gonna go buy a different game and come back to this one once it's been updated.

### 5/5 — Needs save

*2008-12-11, version 0*

Alright I spent like 5 hours playing this game and I got to level 226 and wave 187, and then the game froze up on me, and without an auto save function my game was lost, and now I don't feel like playing any more until an update comes out. There needs to be an autosave, a better way to use spells, and maybe even change the game play to play off of Diablo more, just som suggestions, but auto save is a must. This game has a lot of potential and replay value, it just needs some tweaks. I was also wondering if anyone had gotten any other unique items other than the Guiding Light, the Neckelace of Forlorn, and that elemental sword?? Those are the only ones I have found so far. I like to play till I get the Necklace of forlorn then put it in my keep for the next round slot so I can have it at the beginging of the next game, I think that's why's helped me get so far, it has 20% treasure bonus, so I got a lot of good item early on which helped me easily carry through to the later rounds.

### 4/5 — Fun

*2008-12-07, version 0*

What's Diable? Fun but needs save function and better way to use spells.

### 4/5 — frustrating

*2008-12-01, version 0*

I get to level 115 and wave 92 and I wanna save and I can't and half way through it crashes!!!!! plz add a save and Is there and end to the game??

### 4/5 — Save me please

*2008-11-27, version 0*

Would like to see a save option; upsets me to turn it off once I get going just to start over

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — What's the point?

*2009-04-16, version 0*

Tapping frogs and eyes until they disappear, leaving behind piles of flea market rejects; there's no character, no story, just relentless hordes of creatures trying to cross the road. All you do is tap; no strategy, no adventure and absolutely no fun. This was the absolute worst app that I have ever purchased here and it wasn't a .99 app either... it was a miserable $4.99!! The creator of this is robbing people. Go buy a real app and leave this trash where it belongs.

### 1/5 — Don't buy it.

*2009-03-05, version 0*

Without a save feature it's a very weak game. It had some potential I enjoyed it's mindless tapping for a time, but the concept completely falls through without the ability to save.

### 2/5 — .....

*2008-12-28, version 0*

Not much to say but meh. This game is in dire need of a BIG update. Save button, better drops for higher levels, and easier spell usage. Not worth the money or time

### 2/5 — Not a game for those wanting a hack & slay or dungeon romp RPG

*2008-12-02, version 0*

I really wish I could have figured out what this game was prior to buying it. From the description, I thought this was an adventure RPG. Unlike many comments suggest, this is NOTHING like Diable. Instead its just a game where you try to press your finger as fast as you can over things that try to run to the other side of the screen. Sure, there's this small variety where you get to try to drag "spell" icons to the screen in between your fast pressing on the monsters. And you get to change out stuff in your inventory to make your fast finger pressing more effective, but, um, this isn't really what I was looking for. If I was going for a fast finger pressing game, I'd choose something a missile command game. I'm not sure what this game is intended to be, but I'm just not getting the RPG vibe from Loot Master. And I'm CERTAINLY not getting anything like a sword and sorcery, fight monsters & get treasure type game - whatever Loot Master is, it isn't that - and its certainly not worth the $$. Why oh why can't someone just make a decent adventure RPG that doesn't look like a kiddie game? Truly it shouldn't be that hard to do...

### 2/5 — Ugh

*2008-11-12, version 0*

Boring! This is a really wierd type of game that frankly bores the hell out of me. All you do is tap enemies. The leveling process is very useless as you can't choose what to upgrade. There are some stats that I can't figure out what they do. I don't think this should be a pay app.

### 2/5 — Uh, hello savegame

*2008-10-05, version 0*

Average game that may have rated higher if u could save your place, I don't play long drawn out games on my phone, just quick sessions to pass the time, this game requires a time commitment for any real advancement.

### 2/5 — Not iPhone friendly

*2008-09-23, version 0*

This is a clever game and can be quite addicting, but ...
#1: The game needs to auto-save and allow the player to resume if a game hasn't ended. I played for 30 minutes without finishing the game only to find out when I came back to the app my progress was lost and I had to start all over! What kind of RPG is that?!

#2: Inventory management is very difficult on the iPhone. Descriptions of items are often hidden by your fingers and selection of intended items is often error prone, especially given the fact inventory management is required during the attack wave.

Fix those primary issues and I will rate the game higher as it has a lot of potential, but until then it does not represent a game "made" for the iPhone.

### 2/5 — NOT an rpg

*2008-09-18, version 0*

But admittedly having played to level 15 it is both challenging and unique. When you die you start all over again. Just not what I expected. I guess the splash screen was misleading.

I thought you actually had an on-screen avatar. You do not. This is a tap mobs fast as you can, in the very tiny view below the inventory, and drag item to inventory as fast as you can game. You only have time between levels to look at stats of gear. Also, not enough heal potions drop.

I don't doubt that some people will love this game. It's just not my cup of tea.

### 3/5 — not that fun

*2011-04-13, version 2.0*

i thought that I would really like this game, but... it's not that good.
Here's why..

1. Too many glitches.

Bet the Dev don't play this game.
eg. Openfeintt messages pops up on where I need to touch all the time...
If i touch the message, it moves to other page.. .. BAD

2. Battle is not fun. no reaction.

3. not much.
I didn't want that much, but there isn't that much.

### 3/5 — Not bad but.....

*2010-06-09, version 0*

The game is ok. I don't think it's worth 3 dollars, 99 cents maybe. It needs a storyline, or at least a goal to the game. Also think it could use a feature that lets you compare the items that you have to the ones you pick up when you tap them. Hope that you update it soon.

### 5/5 — A classic!

*2021-03-09, version 2.4*

I randomly thought of this game the other day, and wanted to see if it was still on the App Store. To my surprise, it was! I’m really thankful to the developer for keeping it up all this time, I remember playing this game on my first iOS device in middle school nearly 10 years ago:) A true iOS classic!

### 5/5 — AMAZING

*2020-07-05, version 2.4*

This game is wonderful

### 5/5 — Omg FINALLY!!

*2020-04-07, version 2.3*

I have been checking for this games return FOREVER!! This is so crazy. I thought it would never return!! The ONLY thing thats not working that i NEED back in the game is the double-click to equip an item. Its not working and its SUPER important for gearing during a level and equiping potions

### 5/5 — Awesome RPG Clicker

*2016-05-04, version 2.0*

This is one of the best RPG clickers I have found. So much better then awesome loot. Click to destroy enemies, pick up loot and equip, shake your device to get rid of stuff you don't want. If the enemies make it across the screen you are toast. This game is ancient and still set up for open feint but it's one of the best RPG clickers available. It plays on my iPad mini 4 and my iPhone 6 both running latest version of iOS 9.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2013-08-19, version 2.0*

This app is one of the most addictive games I have ever played and I'm so glad I can write this review while in the middle of a game that I'm like 200 waves into. And by the way for all of those who don't know this, you caaan hold your finger down to attack enemies... Just saying.
Ok I gave this game 5 stars but there are just a few changes that I would like to see and are often complained about although I doubt they'll get fixed since this game is like 5 years old but I'd really like to be able to see my stats the entire time I'm looking at and equipping new gear that maybe even tells you automatically how each piece will affect your stats. The other thing is casting spells... It gets really annoying to have to frantically drag your spells to the field in the middle of battle to use them especially if you're like me and have to stack the heal or speed and damage boost like 9 times on certain waves. I suggest just simply tapping on the spells to use them or to activate offensive ones and then tapping the field to cast them on the area you want.
..........I'm sorry for creating this short novel but this is an amazing game and would be even better with a few updates or maybe even the release of a sequel?!?!?!???? Thanks for making it and peace out.

P.S. Oh actually one more thing lol: at this stage of the game that I'm at I have close to 200% critical hit chance and it makes it really hard to decide whether or not I want to keep my good gear with some dex(which I realize still gives a speed bonus making energy not deplete as fast(?)) or crit% stats... Actually I don't even know why I have trouble with that but THE POINT IS I think it's dumb to have a useless, let's say 190% crit. Hit chance. I think you should turn that into 100% chance for double damage or w/e it is + 90% chance for triple damage or 1.5*normal crit. Damage

Thank you that is all, godspeed. Plur

### 5/5 — Good

Great

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2009-07-20, version 0*

I wrote a long thought out review, but the app store refused to post it because it said my nickname was taken. Suffice to say, the review said this game is good. Save often!

### 5/5 — Sweet

### 5/5 — Addictive fun!!

*2009-04-07, version 0*

Now that 1.2 is live this really is a must have for RPG fans who like getting levels, lots of fun gear and a definite challenge. It is possible but goodluck getting up to or beyond level 100. It definitely makes you want to come back and do better next time.

The creator of of the game is also very responsive and takes thoughts on what the fans want added into the game. You can talk to him on his forums on the website linked for the game. Thank you for a great game
