## What is Looté?

Learn a new language while you play your favorite games. Looté isn't a game: it translates and explains the games you already play.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Screenshot your game or photograph the TV screen.
2. Tap a line to see the translation right away. Tap a word to see what it means in that scene.
3. Keep every word as loot and review it later, a few minutes a day.

No ads and no account. Free up to 100 cards.

UNDERSTAND EVERY LINE
The screenshot's text moves to a clean card, with the hard words marked in yellow. See the translation, each word's meaning in the context of the game, an example from the scene and the tone of the line, and hear the pronunciation. In Japanese, furigana or romaji appear over the kanji.

PLAY NOW, STUDY LATER
Playing on Switch, PlayStation or Steam? Take screenshots without pausing the game and share up to 20 at once to Looté from Photos. Work through the queue whenever you like and finish with a session recap of the key lines and the words to keep.

YOUR VOCABULARY BECOMES LOOT
Every game becomes a cartridge on your shelf, with its own deck. Review with spaced repetition: flip the card, drag it to grade yourself and watch each card climb from a bronze to a platinum trophy. In Progress, follow your day, your streak, your capture journal and your achievements.

8 LANGUAGES
Looté reads games in English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese, and explains them in whichever of those eight you choose. No game at hand? The sample scenes show it all working.

SEE WHO ANSWERED
In Automatic, the iOS translation appears right away and the explanation follows, from the on-device model, Apple's cloud or Claude, by Anthropic. Every answer shows who made it. If you prefer, pick just one or build your own mix in Custom. Answers may contain mistakes.

FREE AND LOOTÉ PRO
Free gives you translation in all 8 languages, on-device explanations for games in Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese, up to 100 cards and one queue with a recap to try. The optional Looté Pro subscription adds Claude and Apple's cloud, explanations for games in Japanese and Korean, every queue with a recap and unlimited cards. Claude needs an internet connection and has a daily limit.

Plans are weekly, monthly or yearly; the yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.

Your screenshots and cards stay on your device, with no Looté account. When Apple's cloud or Claude (which only turns on with your permission) answers, only the text read from the screenshot is sent; images never leave your device. The menus are in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Requires iOS 27 or later. On-device explanations and Apple's cloud need an iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence. Recognition depends on image clarity; Looté does not import captures from console accounts.
