This game does just that. It’s simple enough but keeps you engaged and wanting to progress and comeback for more. (Been playing for 2 weeks) ### 5/5 — Hidden Gem *2026-07-20* When I first saw this app and the low amount of reviews it has compared to other game on App Store I wasn’t expecting much Turns out this game is severely underrated and need a lot more attention for how good it is. Really really fun grinding game with constant improvements and fun mechanics. To play with The best thing, the developers come across as though they genuinely want to build a good game and not just a hungry money grab. No 20 forced ads no crazy pay for the most ultimate thing and beat everyone. Yes there is options to pay for resources but it’s a strong value exchange and worthwhile. Seriously if your someone into simple grinding rpg’s with no crazy complex features just simple grind and get stronger games you’ll love this ### 3/5 — Struggles with balance *2026-07-20* Gameplay loop is fine, but characters aren’t well balanced (some have clearly better skills, melee and defense are dramatically better than magic), the loot isn’t really mix and matchable because of this. Status effects on your characters are hard to see (if they exist other than death’s terror), but gear bonuses include status effect reduction of various kinds. This game will be much better when some thought into balance and synergy with different characters becomes meaningful. Right now there are many characters that are just garbage and no amount of upgrading or gear will make them useful. ### 5/5 — Great Fantasy Game *2026-07-20* Don’t think I have ever written a review for a game on the app store before. I'd reconsider my rating if the dev hires actual artists, for now the game looks like a cheap gacha cash grab. **Developer response:** Hi! There is no pixel art filter. All assets are real pixelart. All items (weapons etc) are made by myself. Now for the bigger sprites like NPCs and backgrounds I have paid many different artists for LOOTFALL - I can‘t really check their exact worlkflow, but I can say that it’s all real pixelart with 128x128p or less. Sadly I am not skilled enough todo bigger art myself but I‘ll make sure to double-check with each artist. So far I give it a two. I haven’t had time to explore many of the games features yet. The basic gameplay loop has so far been repetitive and sometimes boring. I would like more options in team building. There’s no creating your own character yet. ### 2/5 — Ok, but red flags *2026-07-06* I uninstalled when I saw the forge system and the “potential to be destroyed” This is a mechanic exploited by devs to force you to rebuild and potentially rebuy. To give you an example, a shield I tried to take from +4 to +5. I had two break back to back with an 80% success rate. Now things happen. But 80% failing twice in a row is rare. They will tell you it was just a streak. I decided not to stick around to hear another dev lie about their scam rates and system. Which reminds me auto battle was programmed by a first day student. The AI refuses to use the heal option (not spell, the card) to heal the tank who was at 20% HP. Instead takes a damage card and applies it to the character who is the healer. Game is seriously borked. **Developer response:** Hi, and thanks for playing! The forge system is indeed punishing at higher levels. The gaol here is to make high level items a true accomplishment. There is no way to buy weapons with real money and all items are farmable ingame. As you saw the auto battler is fully random currently, but next update will let the player configure it! I may not be a first day student, but still a solo dev :) ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — C’est vraiment l’un des meilleurs jeux auxquels j’ai jamais joué *2026-08-29* À part le fait que le jeu ne soit pas disponible en français ce qui peut parfois induire en erreur sur l’utilité de certains objets, le système de chance de destruction sur les items augmentent les difficultés sans la rendre inaccessible et et comble aussi les joueurs qui ne cherchent pas la difficulté par les item qui permettent de pallier à ce problème. franchement je fais un texte un peu plus long juste en espérant que le jeu soit un peu plus mis en avant. Je sais même pas quoi dire à part merci, merci d’avoir fait un jeu difficile car peu ce risque à le faire et surtout au vu de la difficulté de le rendre accessible. Vas-y, ce jeu me rend trop heureux.
