## What is Lora?

Lora is a running coach who actually listens. She uses AI to understand what you tell her and adjust your training.

Most training plans hand you a schedule and expect you to follow it no matter what. Lora works the other way around. You tell her how you feel and what happened in your week, and she reworks your sessions to match. A bad night, a trip, a niggle starting up: your plan moves with you instead of guilt-tripping you.

What Lora does for you:

A plan that keeps adapting. Lora builds your program from your goal, your real level and the time you have, then revises it whenever something changes.

A coach who believes you. If you say a session was too hard, Lora takes it seriously and eases off. She never doubles down on a plan that isn't working for you.

Connected to your watch. With an Apple Watch, Lora reads your runs, heart rate and recovery straight from Apple Health: one permission, nothing to install. With a Garmin, Coros or Polar, the link goes through Intervals.icu, a free service, and Lora gets the same data. No watch? Tell her how the run went and she adapts just the same.

Recovery aware. Lora watches your heart rate variability and your training load to keep you clear of overtraining and injury.

Who it's for: whether you're training for your first 5K or a marathon, coming back after a break, or just trying to run better without getting hurt, Lora meets you at your level.

Lora offers a subscription for full coaching access.

Lora Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, available monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.21 — 2026-10-12

New: sign in with your Google account, right next to Apple. Email still works under "or with your email".
On Home, I show you one suggestion at a time, based on your account: connect your watch, enter a code from a friend (during your first 7 days), or invite someone to your next session. They reply from a link, without installing Lora. Tap the X to dismiss it for good.
In Profile, you can share the countdown to your race.
If you stop your very first guided session after a few seconds, I suggest a time to pick it back up (tonight, tomorrow morning or this weekend) and remind you with a notification.
On today's session card, I show you how to start it on your Apple Watch, from the Workout app.
In Plan, sessions sent to a COROS watch get their own badge, separate from the Apple Watch one.
Fixes: Plan and Activity keep what is on screen when the connection drops, my voice cues are played in Chinese, and the display holds up better at the largest text sizes.

### 1.0.20 — 2026-10-07

New: share a run you've done. In Activity, open the run and tap "Share". You choose whether to show your pace, and you can remove the link whenever you like. No health data appears.
From the very first screen, you can head out for a 15-minute guided session before answering any of my questions.
Your 14-day trial starts with your first run, or one week after you sign up if you haven't run yet.
The Lora app for Apple Watch is gone: your sessions go to the Workout app on your watch, at the top of the list.
Fixes: the active tab is easier to spot, long durations show in hours ("1 h 15"), and a language I don't speak yet shows in English.

### 1.0.19 — 2026-10-06

New: your sessions in your calendar. Pick a time for each of your running days, then tap "Add to my calendar" in your profile. When your week changes, your calendar follows.
At the end of a guided session, you can choose "Keep running": the timer keeps going and everything extra you run counts.
Until you've run with me, the home screen offers your first session, which I guide from start to finish.
The welcome chat can be shorter: after a few answers, choose "I'll fill in the rest later".
Fixes: the screen to connect Apple Health or your watch now shows at the end of the welcome chat. Apple Health syncs again after you reconnect it. Two sessions on the same day both stay visible, reminder included. A guided session keeps its name in your activities.

### 1.0.18 — 2026-10-04

At the end of our welcome chat, I offer to do your first session right away. If it's planned for another day, I move it to today when you say yes. You can also choose "Later, show my week".
New in the guided session: an "On a treadmill or indoors" switch. I guide you with the timer and my voice, without GPS. I record your duration, not a distance, and remember your choice for your next sessions.
If you put it off, I offer to remind you on the day of your session with a notification, if you agree. I also offer this at the end of your first guided session.
You stay signed in: no more asking for a new sign-in link every month.
Fix: the notifications screen no longer shows up several times in a row.

### 1.0.17 — 2026-09-29

I've had a change of pace. Every screen now shows what matters first: today's session, your week, your latest run. The app also follows your iPhone's light or dark mode.
If you're just starting, your session is now called "Run and walk", with the detail on one line: "8 × 1 min running, 1:30 min walking". The duration shown is the one you actually run.
With an Apple Watch, give me access to the Workout app once: your sessions for the next 7 days arrive there on their own, and your plan shows which ones are already on your watch.
In Activity, tap a run to read my full feedback.
In your plan, you can move a session to a rest day, do a later session today, or mark a session you ran without the app as done.
Your watch, Health and connections now have their own screen in your profile: "Devices and watches".
