### 1.1.40 — 2026-07-13

- Photo uploads (vehicle, business, documents, profile pictures) reworked with multipart — no more stuck uploads or retry loops.
- Owners now see their newly-created vehicles in their list immediately.
- Silent cancellations of already-started rentals stopped; the cron no longer touches trips in progress.
- Clearer validation errors when creating a vehicle (missing city, duplicate plate).

### 1.1.38 — 2026-07-07

Vehicle inspection photos

- At pickup, the customer captures 6 photos of the vehicle (4 sides + 2 interior views) before confirming they have received the keys. When a professional LORA driver is assigned, the driver captures the photos and the customer is not asked to duplicate them.
- At the end of the rental, either the customer or the owner is prompted to capture the same 6 photos before ending the rental. A "Skip" option is available with a clear notice: whoever skips accepts responsibility for any damage reported afterwards.
- A new menu on the order details screen lets the customer submit their own inspection photos at any time during the rental, so both parties can keep their own record and avoid disputes at the end.
- The inspection screen has been redesigned: bigger preview per angle, clear "captured" state (green border), one-tap re-shoot.

Driver assignment

- The "select from list" option now shows only the drivers who are available on the pickup date AND based in the vehicle's city, so the owner no longer picks a driver only to see the assignment fail at the last step.
- Tapping a driver opens the booking form with the rental dates pre-filled from the order, editable if a different range is needed.
- The manual "add driver" (+) and "edit driver" (pencil) buttons on the order details screen are now visible both when no driver is assigned yet and after one has been set — the initial assignment is now reachable in one tap.
- The "select from list" button is hidden until the driver-booking marketplace is enabled for the user, so it stops surfacing an empty list.
- The customer sees the driver's name and phone from the moment the driver is assigned, up until the rental is completed. A call button is available in every state to reach the driver directly.

Order status messages

- Every status message has been reviewed for consistency between French and English, and aligned with the actual state of the order (no more contradictions between the two languages).
- Customers on a with-driver rental now see a clear message at each stage: "a driver will be assigned", "your driver will bring the vehicle at the pickup date", "your driver is on the way".
- Fixed a batch of typos in French and English copy across the order lifecycle.

Error messages translated

- A dozen server error messages that used to reach the user in raw English are now shown in French or English depending on the user's language: driver's licence required / invalid, date of birth required, account not certified, insufficient balance, driver not verified or unavailable, driver not available for the rental dates, and the not-found sentinels for driver / booking / order / vehicle.

Return end audit trail

- Each rental closure now records who ended it (customer or owner), the exact timestamp, and whether the inspection was skipped. This information is available to support for dispute resolution.

Miscellaneous

- Fixed a crash on the confirmation slider when the button was disabled during loading.
- Fixed a layout crash on the inspection screen.
- Vehicle updates from the admin console no longer fail with "object not found" when the vehicle is archived or soft-deleted.
