I also like the weapon classes, you can choose between swords and shields, long swords, spears, staffs and even double daggers. The bad: The game is basically infinity blade with inferior graphics, fighting and overall enjoyability. There is no exploration like there was in infinity blade, you’re on a set path with no shortcuts or hidden loot areas. The story was far too short for the price of LOTF, and the variety of enemies is minimal. I don’t understand why it was almost twice the price of infinity blade when it’s gameplay, story, and general playability are far worse. Another thing that bothered me personally is the graphics. You battle many enemies in this game and in a lot of those fights, it looks like you’re swinging at mid air instead of the enemy, if that makes sense. ### 4/5 — Pretty good but unpolished *2020-11-10, version 1.1.3* The developers clearly set out to clone Infinity Blade on this one. They did a good job with character & environment design. But the animations & combat just don’t flow well like they did in Infinity Blade. Prime example is while attacking, when an enemy is no longer stunned they attack immediately. In Infinity Blade they would block your attack as a way to indicate they are no longer stunned. The finishing animations are not timed well either. You strike and enemy & they stand to assume fight position, then flail & fall down. ### 3/5 — Too easy *2020-07-05, version 1.1.3* I beat the circle in 2 days, probably 4-5 hours of game play. It was fun, but way too easy, especially for paying $9.99. Plus it was meaningless, what was the goal, was there any endgame? Seriously, every sword strike is the exact same sound clip. If I wasn't such an honest person I'd try for a refund on the bounds that it's so sub par it might as well be considered a defective product. This is clearly another example of a large company looking to cash in on one of their big titles while shelling out as little money and effort as possible. They say you can only throw crap (You all know what word that should be.) at a wall for so long before it starts sliding off. ### 2/5 — Okay *2017-02-14, version 1.1.2* This game is extremely similar to infinity blade and I personally feel that it is overpriced. When you hit it doesn't feel solid. The animation is good but definitely not as smooth as infinity blade. It does seem like a poor man's infinity blade. I like it though. But $10 is steep for this. ### 2/5 — Lackluster Infinity Blade *2017-02-09, version 1.1.2* Seeing this featured in the App Store I was very excited for another swipe and slash game. Upon download and playing 5 minutes I was dismayed by the clone like feel of an Infinity Blade. While the graphics are top notch, and a semi interesting storyline it has some redemption. Not really anything new and exciting and the game has immense moments of lag. ### 3/5 — Far from perfect but good. *2017-02-09, version 1.1.2* Looks good graphically but could have better frame rate. The gameplay is fun and reminds me of my most favorite game on iOS "Infinity blade". I don't think it's worth the $9.99 though. Maybe $4.99 at most. Overall the game is pretty good and I'm going to keep enjoying it. I hope for future updates that'll give it better performance. I forgot to mention I'm playing on a iPhone7+ so performance shouldn't be a issue. Anyways that's my quick review and I hope the game gets great support as I loved this game on PS4. I love that it's premium and not some free crap. Parrying is a joke and swings are almost random in direction on my phone. The game feels like a much weaker version of infinity blade. Also WHO'S idea was it to charge 9.99 for a game and add in game purchasing. I already paid $10 for it how much do you want for this game??? I honestly want a refund for this buggy game. Even after Restart and "Restore Purchases". Can't change spacing of Controls so Dodging is difficult and distracting on iPad as the Dodge Arrows are on the very far edge is the Screen. Game is overall unresponsive in Battle with noticeable and detrimental lag (on 2016 iPad Pro 9.7) ### 1/5 — Bad *2017-02-09, version 1.1.2* Try to copy infinity blade.Countless bugs. However, unlike infinity blade series, this game need a lot improvement to smoothing the rough gaming experience. The execution animation is too dull, the swipe often touched doge bottom. Overall this game have a lot potential if developer are willing to improve things.
