Update I have 3 now and my internet speed is better so it seems are the cameras… would recommend ! ### 3/5 — I’m not going to do a rating at the moment. I’ve had my system for 7 years and have been pretty satisfied with it. Occasionally notifications didn’t work, I’d call and it would go back to notifying. It’s now been a month and two ticket numbers later with no resolution. All they tell me is that they are working on it. My system is working. The app is not as far as notifications! I have to check the app to see if something is going on outside. People are at my door and I had no clue anyone was outside! I’m not the only one with this issue yet they can’t seem to fix it. Google it! There are tons of folk with the same issue yet they won’t fix it. Today they tell me my system has been discontinued, yet my system is perfectly fine. The app is the issue. Lorex you have to do better. ### 3/5 — Happy but...... *2026-07-16, version 2.6.0* Happy Overall but seems the app didn't account for the leap year, date and time is right on main system but my motion notifications has been Having the next days date, this started in the 29th of February and notification On that day was 1 March. So when I clicked on motion notification it would show no video. Been on the phone with lorex for over 2 hours and they think it's the system when in fact I know it's the app. I can still use it and overall happy, maybe the right motion date will kick in some day lol ### 4/5 — Love the cams *2026-06-07, version 2.6.0* Feel safe having them ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work anymore *2026-05-28, version 2.6.0* This app/system use to be great, as of late it never loads anymore, I’m unable to see any video, I will get a alert from the cameras but when clicking the notification the camera never loads, even if I exit out the app and restart it, it still will not load, I have 4 cameras, 2 of them stopped working completely and the other 2 now doesn’t load despite paying nearly $500 for cameras that doesn’t work with the app ### 5/5 — Great Security *2026-04-06, version 2.6.0* Lorex system with battery has given me a Peace of Mind for the last 6 years and going strong. Batteries have been hard to get. So internal cameras have been using wall plug-ins and out side now on solar. Picture Quality is outstanding. Highly recommended Lorex. Like many Lorex customers, I’ve had and loved my system for years. It was working fine few weeks ago now it doesn’t. I’ve powered off the system, checked my wifi and took battery packs all out of the camera. Uninstalled iPhone app and reinstalled all cameras. I’m still not receiving any notifications being pushed. I’ve had this system since 2011. I’ll be looking for another camera system that won’t give me any issues. This happens often. I tried new cameras from Lorex after got them here they said oh you have to use new software & then hit me w/ they discontinued what I bought. I am a 21 year veteran in the electronic security business ( I work for the government ) and I use this system for one of my personal properties. The range is great and the night vision on the cameras is EXCELLENT. The mobile app is intuitive and feature rich. I highly recommend this system for your residential or business needs.
