Lorex Ping lets you view your LIVE Ping or Vantage Stream wireless network camera from anywhere in the world! 

The app allows you to: 
- View live video from your camera.
- Connect your camera to your personal WiFi network.
- Record video and snapshots directly to your mobile device.
- Playback video from your mobile device or from the camera’s microSD card. 
- Configure camera motion detection and other settings.

After a few years with the Lorex camera Ping app and with IOS upgrade to 11.4 version, the app just died.  It no longer allows the camera to communicate with my IPhone.  Furthermore,  I have multiple Lorex cameras for the past few years, and the Lorex app’s fails.  RIP.

The app is horrible. It's buggy and inconsistent. It will work 1 out of every 4 launches of the app.(because I have to restart it for it to actually work.) the original app was usable, ping2 is an embarrassment. With a parent company of FLIR they should be doing much better.

The notifications on iOS devices stopped working a few months ago, even on the newer "Ping2" App.  Please fix.

I would like to keep the original version of Lorex Ping, not the new Lorex Ping 2. But, I don't like the annoying popup to ask me for updating.

This far has been the worse lorex experience yet. The app doesn't work. It tells me to update to ping 2, I did. Lorex customer service is ridiculous. I held on for 5 minutes trying to explain that I'm trying to get my camera to store the records to my smartphone or sd card. Within 3 minutes they hung up. Called back waited another 5 minutes. Stayed on phone 45 minutes waiting for help and still couldn't help. I told her I have to go to work. I told her if no help tomorrow will send back.

DO NOT update to this version!  It'll ask you to update to Lorex Ping 2 every time you start this app.  There is no way to turn it off.  Extremely annoying.  Lorex Ping 2 is not very intuitive to use and I prefer Lorex Ping.   

Lorex, please provide a way to turn off this ANNOYING message.

I can't believe it but after two years they have finally released a fix to the camera firmware so that the camera actually works when you are away from home. If they had fixed this two years ago rather than waiting until now, they would have sold a hundred times as many systems and have mostly positive reviews.
