## What is Lost Items?

People lose everything at an airport: tambourines, boarding pass wallets, rare comic books. All of it ends up on your counter, and all of them come looking for it.

A conveyor belt drops batches of lost property beside you. Drag each piece onto the counter before the batch rolls away. Then the queue starts. Every traveller describes one item, and only the right one earns the money.

HOW A SHIFT GOES
- Clear the belt before a batch is gone for good
- Hand each passenger exactly the item they describe
- Nothing to give them? Pass them a phone note and call back when the item turns up
- Some finds arrive damaged: clean, tag, mend or rescan them before anyone can claim them
- Collect your tips before they take over the counter

SPEND WHAT YOU EARN
Between shifts you walk the street and shop. A wider counter, a third lane for the queue, a longer shift, a bell that pays more for fast service. Quieter doors open later: a register that ends the pickpockets, a notes app for your phone, a screen that tells you what the next traveller wants.

IT ONLY GETS BUSIER
Damaged items start riding the belt. Rush hours fill the queue, and pickpockets come to work them. VIPs pay double and wait half as long. There is no final day - how long you keep the counter under control is the score.

Lose track and the day ends: a wrong item handed over, a traveller who walks away, a batch left on the belt.
