What's New in TV Remote Control & Keyboard

2.3.16

October 2, 2026

Smoother pairing and a faster remote: - Sort your app shortcuts: press and hold an app at the top of the remote, then drag it where you want it. - If the app can't work with your TV yet, leave your email and we'll write once it does. - Samsung: pairing no longer stops after you select Allow on the TV. The same fix helps Roku, Sony and Toshiba TVs. - Hisense VIDAA: if your TV shows a code, the app now asks you for it instead of carrying on without it. - The remote connects faster, and some Hisense TVs no longer get stuck connecting. - Switching the TV on from the app: the app again saves what it needs while the TV is on, so Power can switch it on later. - Android and Google TV: if switching the TV on fails, you can add its MAC address right away. - After pairing, the app takes you straight to the remote. You can rename your TV later. - The Local Network permission now explains what it is for. - Fixed a problem that could keep the app from opening properly when iOS started it while your iPhone was locked. - Fixed a crash when tapping Re-pair after leaving the remote. Thank you for your feedback. Keep it coming via Send feedback in the app!
