I Go into the app and I can’t get anything to show up. It just is a blank screen. The website does weird things too. I wish it wasn’t so glitchy as I NEED to sign up for shifts next week but just cannot get the app to let me do it. ### 2/5 — Garbage *2023-04-15* This app is a disaster! Constantly makes you log in although that depends on if the app even opens. Keeps saying I don’t have a good internet connection when I am standing next to my router. Doesn’t send links to contacts that are valid. Tells me I don’t have an account when I do. It’s a hot mess. None of the comments are appearing in the app though. Tried restarting it, etc. We can only see them on the website. This makes the app completely useless. Not sure what’s wrong. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2018-08-28* I’ve used the Lotsa website for several years and just discovered this app. I downloaded the app, but receive a message that the community I want to join is not supported by the app and I need to open it in the web browser. Too bad **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. Communities created on the older platform are not compatible with the app. You can check by looking at the URL. If it begins with my.lotsahelpinghands.com or aflacmycancercircle.com then it will work with the app. In the future we plan on offering a migration path for those who want to switch to the newest platform. ### 1/5 — Crash crash crash *2018-05-05* As a coordinator the app would be better on the phone. But anytime I try to switch between pages or crashes. Like if I go from calendar to activity it just closes or if I click on the comments to read them crash. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. It is impossible to understand who is doing what. It show no needs when in fact there are 5!! Cannot do any administrative functions with it. At first I was so excited about it. I told everyone to get it. Since then I have had to completely retract my recommendation. Take it down or make it communicate with the website. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2017-07-18, version 2.0.8* The webpage is great but I have instructed everyone in our group to delete the app. It does not sync correctly, which is a HUGE problem when the whole point is to share info in real time. What good is it if you have to constantly check the app? And why do I have to go out of the app to post a need? I attempted to log in, and I just see a spinning death wheel that never ends next to my family team name. The interface with the website and vice versa is horrible. Updates, announcements, etc. entered on the app. do not show up on the website and vice versa. Best to stick with the functionality of the website. Works better. ### 1/5 — No support from Lotsa Helping Hands *2019-10-18* The set up is easy the concept is tremendous but all of a sudden the automatic reminders stopped sending for the tasks. Support claims a response in 24 hours. No response 72 hours later and two follow up emails. No phone support either. This is a fabulous tool, but the reminder feature is essential. ### 1/5 — Frustrated *2019-08-17* I just created an account. Then I downloaded the app. I tried to log in. It said my email and password don’t match. They do match. I can get on the site through the email I received. So I tried to set up my account through the app. It said this account is already in use. It still wouldn’t let me log in through the app. ### 1/5 — App just crashes *2019-07-17* I have an iPhone XS.. and I can’t get past the sign on ... it hangs then just crashes. I like their use of KISS principle which is important given the diverse low-tech user community. The mobile app is just as good, if not easier! No crashing, as another user experienced and I've used it a lot since it was released. Great to have on-the-go when you need to check who has signed up for different tasks. This app is a Godsend. ### 3/5 — Needs improvements *2026-07-10* I am using this App and website while I’m going through brain surgery. The website is great, but the app has room for improvement. 1) you can’t see the full calendar. 2) you can’t choose what notifications you get and what notifications you don’t get (like I want to only be notified of pending requests not when people volunteer for something. But that’s not an option). 3) There’s not a way on the app or the website to make a reoccurring task (not just duplicating it but also a way to say “every Monday 7-11am indefinitely). 4) Also, it would be nice on the website and App Calendar if there are multiple tasks in a day but only some tasks have a volunteer and some don’t, for it to be striped grey and pink instead of remaining pink. ### 3/5 — Website 5 stars! In fact I can’t find a share button on the app. I would suggest a share button under the settings tab. Changing a date on an event with reaccuring dates doesn’t seem to be possible and I had to delete the event and start over. I do love that this is one place to ask for all things in the help need realm! ### 3/5 — Almost there! *2023-04-19* LHH checks alot of boxes in that it has a robust desktop browser version for Admins. However the App is missing ONE key feature: CALENDAR VIEW!Currently, (as of April 2023) the only way I can view All tasks and needs is in a List view. This makes it difficult for Volunteers to get an overview of needs. There is a Calendart Icon at the top of the List view however it DOES NOTHING.
