The app has been redesigned for iOS 13 and dark mode. The scan ticket button has moved to the top-right of the screen (when you have the Tickets tab selected). It’s a picture of a QR code. Thanks for trying Lotto Lens. The app was changed to a subscription model over a year ago, it’s just being highlighted more prominently in the current version to make it more obvious (and easier) for users to subscribe. The app takes a significant amount of time to develop and support, and we send many many (many!) thousands of push notifications of winning tickets and results almost every day. There’s significant costs associated with that and so it’s simply not feasible for the app to be free.
