### 1/5 — Latest version (06-2016) broken

*2016-06-18, version 2.6.8*

Have the paid version, worked ok until last update... App start added sessions to my log when launch, before I start the timer... And once the session is done, it just crashed... Upon restarting the app after each crash, I will find multiple entires ( 4-12) of the exact same session added to my log...

UPDATE-as of 6-18, everything stop working, none of the tap points react to tapping, cannot even use it as a simple timer anymore

Please fix
Thanks

### 1/5 — Buggy and annoying

*2014-04-02, version 2.1*

Tutorial runs automatically every time I open the app. I'm returning to the "meditation timer" app.

### 1/5 — Disgusted!

*2014-02-16, version 2.0.2*

In Lotus Bud v1, the meditation timer, analysis and mindfulness bell were all integrated into a single app.

Now, it's two apps and you pay more for extras to do what already existed in v1.

A poorly disguised money grabbing manoeuvre.

### 1/5 — Crashes immediately.

*2013-12-27, version 2.0*

How was this able to be released?

### 1/5 — Crashes upon opening

*2013-12-27, version 2.0*

Downloaded today, and it instantly crashes as it opens every time. Tried re downloading to no avail. Shame I can't compare it to the original app because of that.

### 2/5 — 2016 - update?

*2016-12-11, version 2.7.1*

The bell doesn't sound to indicate the meditation time is completed.

### 3/5 — Missing a Couple of Things

*2021-05-15, version 2.10.3*

I didn’t have the same issues that other users had, specifically the ending bell. I heard it, three times.

I’d buy this app but it’s lacking a couple of things I’d find useful: integration into the Health app’s Mindful Minutes; an alternate bell sound (I prefer a deeper tone); the ability to add time to your meditation, ie if I pass the 5 minute mark, the additional time gets added to the scheduled time.

You could also consider changing the icons or names; both apps appear as “Lotus Bud” on screen and in settings. That’s just bad UXD.

### 3/5 — No Health app sync

*2018-10-11, version 2.7.8*

Nice, but doesn’t sync with Health app to track your mindfulness minutes.

### 3/5 — not with watch yet

*2015-04-26, version 2.4*

seems promising for watch meditation app but set for beginning meditation bell and none sounded. checked all settings. sounds working fine with all other apps. all in good time. will see if the reminders I set will sound in the morning.

### 3/5 — Less features than previous version

*2014-01-03, version 2.0.1*

As a regular user of the previous version of this app, I was looking forward to seeing what the new version offered. I was disappointed to see that even with the full version purchase, the Retreats feature has been removed. That was a big plus for me. It seems that version of the app is now gone, which means it will no longer be developed.

I'm not really sure what has been improved in this new version of the app, minus making the controls more difficult to access.

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good meditation timer

*2017-08-24, version 2.7.1*

It's basic and what is needed if you feel like you need a special app to meditate.
It's got a good bell. Could use a couple updates. But it works.
Be better if there were a way to turn the 'journal' prompt off. Or even a delay to set before the beginning bell.
It isn't ugly and it doesn't try to sell you other stuff. It doesn't have any social networking crap. It beats setting the egg timer in the kitchen.
Worth a download.

### 5/5 — Great meditation timer

*2016-02-06*

This a good meditation timer. The graph and motivational features are good for habit building. The apple watch app is very useful - great to get gentle tap when meditation is finished.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2015-10-20, version 2.5*

Works just as they intend. Very simple. Just the way I like. Would be nice to have 2 reminders...considering you should meditate twice a day.

### 5/5 — Simple, Useful & Reliable . Just the job!

*2015-10-03, version 2.4.5*

Yes there's an app for that too.... even mindfulness and meditation!
It does what it says on the tin and I always find it very useful. Highly recommended

### 5/5 — Perfect for all levels

*2015-06-15, version 2.4*

I've tried nearly every meditation app in the store, and kept running into the same problem, time limits. For me 1hr is minimum, which many apps restrict you to as the max. This is the best app I've found that will let me meditate for however long I want. I like that there's no silly options like bragging my success across social media, and it doesn't try to be cute, just clean. It's a timer with a nice bell. It has a couple other options if you want them- like reminders and goal setting. Well done, thank you for this app!

### 4/5 — Can't get it to work right with the Apple Watch

*2016-08-16, version 2.6.9*

My previous review about the issues with the app working on Apple Watch turned out not to be because of the Lotus Bud app. Fixed the issue. The app works great.

### 4/5 — Great.

*2014-10-10, version 2.2*

This is the best app for timing meditations. It's simple and fun to use. But "meditation is complete" bell isn't working after the update, but I believe it will be fixed soon.
