## What is Lotus Digital?

Lotus is a beautiful game that grows into a unique work of art every time you play.

Clear your head and take in the quiet strength of the Lotus garden. It takes skillful care and nurturing to grow these flowers to their full potential, but once picked, they provide their owner with wisdom. Beware, for there are others who will do anything they can to get their hands on these mystical flowers. You'll need to enlist the help of creatures native to this land to take control of the Lotus garden and achieve true enlightenment.

In Lotus, players take turns adding petals and utilizing guardians to control and nurture these mystical flowers to maturity. Collect special abilities as you grow to aid you on your quest, and gain wisdom points for each completed bloom. At the end of the game the player with the most wisdom points will emerge from the garden that much closer to enlightenment!

Vibrant visual effects, skilled AI, meditative environmental music and smooth touch play translate the serenity of Lotus to your phone or tablet.

### 5/5 — It hasn’t kept up with technology

*2025-09-10*

I wrote to the company many times, and they have tried to be helpful, but they can’t try it on today’s electronics because they don’t seem to have them. It doesn’t work on my iPhone 16+ yet Apple keeps giving me the app when I have to delete it and reinstall. It works on my iPad 13 Pro only for a limited amount of time. After it gets to level four, it quits working. Meaning that it won’t load anymore. It halfway starts to load and gives up. So I’ve tried turning my iPad off as soon as I get to level four generally somewhere in the middle where it stops working, but when I restart my iPad, it won’t load. I think my iPad has an M4 chip that this software does not work well with and I don’t think Apple should be selling this app to unsuspecting consumers when it is incompatible with their new versions. Apple should fix this because the developer won’t. What a shame because I really love this game.

### 1/5 — It hasn’t kept up with technology

*2024-12-17*

I wrote to the company, but the employee didn’t seem to care. I realize that’s not indicative of every company but when the employee who is in charge of customer service doesn’t want to respond I think that tells you something.

### 2/5 — Needs UNDO and a better way to trade cards

*2024-05-31*

The game would be fun if I could get the cards to go under my deck or if there was a way to undo since the game always thinks I want to add to a flower when i touch a petal card.

### 5/5 — The game I return to the most

*2024-05-22*

I have about a dozen games on my phone.
I DL a few here and there over the years. This one has been on my phone for years. I come back to it time after time. It’s simple, challenging, fast, fun. I play it on hard, solo, against computer and don’t always win. It’s a great game.

### 4/5 — Game is one step away from perfect

*2021-11-30*

Gameplay, graphics, controls etc. are amazing, and gaming the AIs, which even on hard difficulty play suboptimally, is also fun. The one thing preventing the game from being perfect, is a strange bug previously brought up in another review by LadyIce830. Specifically, when you are about to reach level 10, on the appearance of the final mission you need, the game softlocks, presumably because there are less than 3 missions left to display. Thus, you can never actually reach level 10, obtain the golden scoring stone, and achieve perfect enlightement, no matter how many times you outplay the AIs. I’m curious as to whether Lanterns, or any of DWD’s other digital board games have this strange bug, or if it’s just Lotus.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the review and for the report! We are currently working on a solution for this issue and should have an update shortly.

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention and for your patience as we investigate!

### 4/5 — Last Round

*2021-09-05*

While I love this game, I consistently get caught off guard by the abrupt “end of round”. The game would be more strategic if that phase was more clearly explained. All I know is the game takes over and sometimes a player gets to recoup some points or draw cards but other times this is not so; however I don’t understand why. Otherwise, it’s a very enjoyable game.

**Developer response:** Hello Mary,
Thank you so much for the review and for taking the time to leave feedback - we are always happy to hear from players regarding ways to improve the experience. Thank you, and have fun playing!

### 2/5 — Pretty game with one fatal flaw

*2020-10-16*

The game graphics and animations are pretty but not having notifications when it’s your turn is a huge painpoint. It’s easy to forget to check the app when everyone has different schedules, leading to abandoned games if no one sends a text as a reminder. I’d also love to see a more diverse nameset for solo games!

**Developer response:** Hi Aaoki! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, we appreciate your feedback and it has been passed on to the team! If you have additional thoughts, feel free to drop a line to support@direwolfdigital.com or via the in-game feedback function so we can take a look!!

### 5/5 — Excellent game

*2020-09-22*

I already had this developer’s Lanterns game and like it, so when I found this I thought I’d try it. It’s a similar concept in how it works, and it’s easy to learn but challenging in a fun way, it’s not frustrating. It’s different enough from Lanterns to enjoy both, they’re not redundant.

Visually it’s gorgeous too. It’s best on a larger-size phone or iPad, I think it would be too hard to see some elements on a smaller phone. I usually don’t like landscape mode games, but I like this well enough that I can handle that (it’s not the type of game that would work well in portrait, the layout wouldn’t quite work that way).

I appreciate the fair premium price and no ads or IAPs. This is another great game by a good developer. I hope it stays updated.

Thank you for a great game!

**Developer response:** Hello! Thank you so much for the VERY kind review! We hope you continue to enjoy playing, and please feel free to reach out to us any time with comments, questions, or concerns. Have fun playing!

### 5/5 — Great Game!

*2019-12-05*

This is a great implementation of one of my favourite board games! Best part is that the animations are smooth and you don’t have to pack up the cards when you’re done!

### 5/5 — Gorgeous Graphics

*2019-07-10*

Lotus is such a lovely game! I’m a big fan of the floral theme & the magical qualities. It is a simple & easy game to learn with fun animations & sweet little guardians to help you along the way.
