## What is Loud Alarm Clock?

Getting out of bed is no longer just about you. It is about your chicken.

CluckClock is a loud alarm clock for heavy sleepers with a virtual pet twist. When the alarm fires, you silence it by feeding your chicken in a fast worm-tapping wake-up game.

THE MISSION: FEED OR FAIL

When the alarm rings, open the app and complete a reaction-based wake-up game with several worm spawns on a 2×2 plot, plus occasional golden worms for bonus score.

Your chicken has four health states: Healthy, Thin, Malnourished, and Dead. Skip or fail too often and its health drops. When your chicken dies, it joins the Graveyard with a memorial you can review.

EGGS, UNLOCKS, AND OPTIONAL PURCHASES

Stay consistent: streaks can earn eggs used in the app to unlock gentle wake sounds and other egg-gated content.

Optional egg packs are available as consumables and add to your egg balance.

ALARM AUDIO

Choose from loud crow and gentle wake ambient options. Sounds are designed to feel urgent and noticeable. Final loudness depends on your device volume and system settings.

SCHEDULING AND SYSTEM INTEGRATION

Set weekday and weekend alarm slots. Time-sensitive local notifications are used where appropriate. On supported iOS versions, AlarmKit can present the system alarm experience.

SHARE

Share coop, streak, or graveyard moments from the app.

### 5/5 — Best clock app in 2026

*2026-05-09*

1. Does not collect user data.
2. Can be used without a subscription or purchase.
3. Has you complete challenges in order to shut off alarm.

CluckClock has all of this. This app is very minimal but has unique features and is beautifully designed. For me it’s important to have wake up challenges with my alarm otherwise I will shut it off and immediately fall asleep again. This app implements these challenges by either shaking your phone X times or playing a small game to collect worms for your chicken. The feature of having a chicken is amazing, it really keeps you accountable and helps to keep track of your wake-up habits. If you miss your alarm too many times your chicken will die of starvation and go to your graveyard, where you can view its stats. The chickens are so cute and customizable and so funny.
This app has NO ads, NO subscription, and can be used fully without any purchases. Most importantly, there is no data collected and the privacy policy is very straight forward. It is very difficult to find an alarm clock on the App Store right now without excessive user data collection or ads. They almost all have data linked to the user for tracking. Why does an alarm clock need your contact info, your location, your purchase history, etc. I spent almost an hour scrolling until I found this and I haven’t looked back.

**Developer response:** Really happy you found this app to be useful, I appreciate that you have all the details I baked in the app to keep it Free to use for the base use of the app as an alarm, you can overtime unlock everything by just using the app daily. Hope you never get to see it but if or when your chicken dies you can play a mini game to spawn a new (different) chicken for free since when your chicken is gone he is gone forever.

Also for my first ever written review... Thank you
