## What is Lourdes Public School Kottayam?

Lourdes Public School and Junior College, established in 1996, is an award winning CBSE school located in the heart of Kottayam town in Kerala which is popularly known as “The Land of Letters, Lakes and Latex”. The school has been hailed as one among the top 100 Day Schools in India by the EW-C Fore National Survey 2013.

Lourdes Public School and Junior College is owned and managed by Lourdes Forane Church Educational and Charitable Society on behalf of Lourdes Forane Church which belongs to the Archdiocese of Changanacherry.

          We provide a secure, stimulating and personalised learning experience for every student that takes full account of their individual needs, interests and aspirations in order to develop a range of learning and teaching styles to improve levels of attainment and progress for all students. We promote guidelines for teaching and learning and establish clear criteria for best practice and consistency to focus upon continual raising standards of teaching and learning in the school and to achieve stronger partnerships with parents and other stakeholders.

Adopt appropriate planning that incorporates a variety of teaching-learning strategies so that students have multiple options for taking in information, making sense of ideas, and expressing what they learn.
