I miss buying the whole story and letting your choices throughout the game decide your ending. Whoever writes for the MC now must be 12 because she seems very immature, nothing like then MC from irresistible mistakes when it first came out or really any of the other titles…. If you want us to believe MC is a mid to late 20 something year old women maybe have a woman like that write for her. They also just keep updating the same few titles every month. The stories are good and I do like the art, but I find the format a bit lacking and laggy. The major downfall of this game is how much it requires the player to pay for anything good. If you’re a masochist who likes to be miserable while playing, than I imagine you’d like to experience this game without paying 20 bucks of real money just to romance a 2d character. I mean seriously, what is up with these companies and their desperateness to make players pay? At this point, don’t make the games free, just make them buy the game in the first place with minimal in app purchases that won’t affect whether you get good endings or not. But I lost all of my data, despite the app never being deleted off my phone. It was always on my phone, just never used. I’m just upset that I lost all of my coins I had, and I had this issue before but I could redeem my purchases. However, now I can’t find the button/option for it. And my stories progress are lost too. Does this happen often with anyone else? I appreciate a little help with the matter. But either way, I do really like the app. I grew up playing these stories before on their separate apps, so it’s kinda disheartening to lose it all. ### 3/5 — I used to really love this game but… *2025-05-22, version 10.5* I’m going to start off by saying this game I really used to love to play but recently not so much. Huhuhu... ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Terrible Gameplay *2026-02-20, version 11.7* The episodes costs 400 coins but they only “give” you up to 10 coins if you’re doing some activities and the ads you watch usually gives you 1 or 2 coins with a 2 ad limit. There is no way to really gain any coins for free in an efficient way. You have to pay for it and that sucks. The episodes are overpriced and the free way to get it is largely underpriced. 100 coins per ad would be nice with an unlimited or at the most 5 chances a day. I really liked the opening story too but I have to delete this game because it’s not programmed for the viewers entertainment but for the gain of the developers pockets. That usually decides whether a game will be good or not. ### 1/5 — Several Otomes had busted text *2025-07-19, version 10.8* Tried playing a few otomes and they had broken text. An exact example: “Um, we’re s pposed to deliver some flo r to the palace, b to r car broke down…” Like come on… the Voltage VNs on Switch are decent but the app quality is not good. ### 1/5 — Thief *2025-06-30* A few years ago, I had to deal with a scam on their part, having paid hundreds of euros on their applications. I lost everything and over €500 was stolen! On love 365, it's exactly the same thing, they purposely deactivate your account or delete other means of transfer so that you pay the same stories €100 stolen again! I played several Voltage Inc. games more than a decade ago, like many other customers, on a first gen ipod touch. I fell in love with the characters as a middle schooler. One in particular I will forever be a fan of, Ichigo Sato, the pastry guy. The story helped me through some hard times and really pulled on my heart strings. [After reading lots of reviews, it has jogged my memory, and I am now mad. Original 3 stars for losing my purchases is now a 1] At some point before this app became a thing I tried opening DDIWT, but it would open to a white screen. I attributed this to my ipod touch being old (after reading reviews, I now know this was not the case). So I could have still transferred my data, but had no warning of what was to come. I just assumed that once I got a new device, I’d be able to reread the chapters again. One day several years ago I was reminded of the Voltage Inc. games and wanted to replay DDIWT, now that I was older (nostalgia) and had gotten a new device. However, I couldn’t find it. I couldn’t find any of the other original games either. My Forged Wedding had changed to some party version. It looked different and I guess you could dress up your own character? This would have taken me out of the first person aspect had I continued to play, so I didn’t bother. I remember with the old version you could reread the chapters, which I loved! But now you can’t? I was fortunate enough to play these games without having to use hearts or have a waiting period. Like a book, you paid and read. Now it looks like you can dress the characters up? That doesn’t seem fun at all. Kind of like a young kid dress-up game. I liked it feeling real and in first person. I loved the simplicity of the originals. It was just reading manga, but you got to choose the ending. The original games, back when they were all separate, I’d give a 10+ stars. I am sad and now mad that my progress and the app itself was deleted. It would have been nice for the creators to talk about the transferring option as a maintenance popup within the app. Or linked these apps to GameCenter. I guess in the end I will cherish the old apps. But I am glad others can still enjoy DDIWT if it is in fact still available here. I will not be trying out this new version though. Still… HIGHLY RECOMMEND VOLTAGE INC. STORIES [1/5 stars have nothing to do with the actual stories. Just devastated that the old purchased games are forever gone and there was a time when I could have transferred my data :( ] ### 1/5 — Fehler! *2024-11-03* Ich wollte das Spiel auch spielen. Aber das war ein großer Fehler. Als ich reinging war alles nur noch weiß und mein iPad konnte nichts mehr machen. You wrote it in the FAQ about losing coins & hearts when you change device that are on different OS. Who reads FAQ when changing device? So i got a new phone, already had the backup setup ages ago. Did the transfer, 0. NOTHING. You had a prompt window, asking for confirmation, YOU SHOULD have also indicated about losing existing coins & hearts. So i went for the "Help & Terms" section, hoping to get help answers. And there it was. I WANT MY BALANCE BACK. ### 1/5 — Gross stories *2024-06-22, version 9.3* First story i read the woman was auctioned, the man “selling” her, described her as available for any service including being a toy. Starting your app off with sex trafficking is a disgusting thing to do. Not only that but it highlights her being a Japanese women being trafficked. Which is a major issue currently going on. Yuck! ### 1/5 — No longer worth it *2024-06-11, version 9.3* I’ve been playing Voltage games since I was 11 starting with the Pirates in Love so it kills me to say that there is nothing worth reading when it comes to their ‘new’ stuff. I put ‘new’ in quotes because they just update the same few titles nonstop despite the story being long over. The app is filled with half finished stories and all the good ones are behind such a large paywall with the hearts system that it’s cheaper to get a completely different game where you have the ability to unlock all the stories at once, just need to choose the right choices. I love that I have access to ALL of the stories from 1 app so I’m not taking up so much space on my phone with all of the individual apps. I was also a HUGE fan of the Lovestruck app by Voltage USA and I miss it so much. I’m glad that we are getting console ports for each of the stories but I really wish you would just reboot the app. Or at the very least, give us a port for the remaining seasons of each game. Because some of my favorite stories were in the later seasons. Anyways, I love this app just as much and hope it stays up in business. I actually still call it “voltage” 😆 anyhow, I love that I just have to spend a certain amount on the stories I want, and I don’t really have to worry about diamonds, points, etc. Of course there’s stories with hearts that you do have to continuously buy, but overall, with all the stories available to you with a certain price, I think it’s a great deal.
