After the first term ended, we had to wait like 2 weeks for the second term to release and you still have to wait 24 hours for a new episode, which are also really short. I also feel like there is so much dialogue, and not really many chances for you to choose your own path or choice. If you’ve seen the ads, it’s really not like that at all, but still overall a decent game. Wish there were more options for ally/romance building also. ### 4/5 — Good game *2026-08-23, version 1.23.0* It’s a good game but I wish you didn’t have to wait so long to progress in the story if you don’t want to pay ### 3/5 — It has promise *2026-08-23, version 1.23.0* I like the story and some features, however I can’t see how this can be played long term unless you’re willing to spend a lot of money. Aside from only getting 3 keys and watching ads for more the lack of gems you receive from watching ads and completing scenes isn’t enough for side quests of building relationships. In order to progress in the main story you need to have your companions at certain levels. But those side quests require 25 diamonds for each interaction. And if those companions aren’t at a certain level you can’t play the next chapter. I know that money keeps things going but the amount you need to spend is ridiculous. I doubt I’ll keep playing because I’m already paying money for diamonds on the chapters app but the pay off is much better than this. ### 2/5 — Smh *2026-08-16, version 1.22.1* I like it and I really hope yall give us a option to join the rebellion side because if not i will delete it now im still standing by it i thought this game would be different but nope ### 4/5 — So fun, but… *2026-08-13, version 1.22.1* This is such a fun, immersive, creative and imaginative game, and I’m thoroughly enjoying the story. My only complaint is that while I don’t mind watching an ad or two for extra rewards, but the rewards aren’t really enough to up alliances/complete side quests to really have options to continue with the main storyline, and that’s frustrating. However I do think making all options other than one gems only makes it extremely hard to get further in relationships(friends or otherwise). I’d like to see a rebalance of the gem rewards after a story and maybe instead of just 2 gems for the ads maybe like 5? However, like most of these story games you have keys and diamonds to customize or continue with the storyline. That’s fine. However, this game is essentially trying to force people into buying diamonds to enjoy the full extent of the story. Not a big fan of that. I’ve always loved interactive story games, but it’s been a while since one really pulled me in the way Spellfyre has. This one feels much more thoughtful, with a story and characters that actually feel fleshed out. It doesn’t feel like just another money grab. You can tell that they put a lot of thought and care into this. The customization is great, the character designs are beautiful, and the whole experience feels polished, immersive, and character-driven in a way I’ve really missed from this genre. ### 5/5 — Super addicting *2026-07-05, version 1.18.0* Love love this game and I’m so glad I’m supporting the original creators of pixelberry, too!! It’s fun and interactive. Having the option to purchase in beginning of the game, I actually did purchase two packs HOWEVER once you hit chapter 17 you cannot advance without leveling up friendships - which cost gems. There’s no way to level your characters to a level 8 and 13 without spending money, basically forcing your hand. At purchasing two packs I have a level 13 and the next closest is 4. Needing 4 more levels to continue to the storyline at 35 gems a level is ridiculous. I’d rather choose to spend money for experiences not be forced to pay to play. Nothing in the story changes despite what you choose. The sets and characters are beautiful, the story is built and really interesting. What is unfortunate is that it is impossible to move forward after chapter 3 without paying with money. We win 1 diamond per chapter, while it takes 35 to do the secondary quests that are essential to move forward... I want to watch ads, but when I see the price of diamonds, don't abuse. If you want to move forward properly, make the whole story, expect to pay a lot of money, maybe even hundreds of euros. You get 1 key every 1.5hrs and you can have a max of 3 keys passively generated. To level up the relationships with the other characters you need a ton of gems, you only get 1 gem (2 if you watch an add) for each key you use. Most of the character relationship lines require 20+ gems per session. Even the purchased content is ridiculously expensive. ### 1/5 — Wasn’t even interested in continuing *2026-03-09, version 1.4.0* I loved choices and was really excited by this project. Choices has turned into AI garbage, but even before then, the stories became meaningless plots only based around romance and sex rather than being good storylines with options for romance. After I started the first chapter, it immediately seemed heavy on the romance to the point where I didn’t care. And you need at least 30 to have a scene with any of the other characters besides your best friend?
