I can’t always watch the show on the same night. I wanted to do the quiz tonight (Saturday evening) but it had already closed. I was upset because I have been trying hard to concentrate all week in order to get a top score, but the chance was taken away from me. 😢 The app is a bit sluggish at the moment too, it hasn’t always been like this. I was asked to update it, but I have the latest version according to App Store. All in all I enjoy this app, but it could be improved with a couple of wee tweaks. Give us that can’t always watch on the night more of a chance to interact and fix some bugs. ### 1/5 — Not working! *2024-01-16, version 9.2.0* It is telling me to update app go to do it there’s no option to update so I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled still says the say! I had no notification to vote when the public were voting for their favourite boy and girl and yesterday I couldn’t turn off the shock horror moment from yesterdays show , I thought my app had been bugged and I opened up a horror app all on its own !! This year the show is terrible any way , the poor islanders can’t even get them selves established in a couple because the show keeps recoupling them every bloody night , it’s rediculous!! The main landing page starts with showing each entry twice, that's the sign that the next time you open this app it just won't load the main page at all. Reinstalled it, after one day same thing happens again. Entries start duplicating and then nothing at all the next time. Just that dreaded loading symbol. The other tabs do work, but I hardly look at those. Needs fixing, otherwise don't bother. ### 1/5 — Crashes constantly *2023-02-21, version 9.0.1* When the App is running it is great. However this year (2023) it seems that if you try to open the App to see the ‘first look’ after the notification of it goes out. The servers are not able to cope and nothing will load. Again will happen at time of voting. Loading the App at non-peak times seems to work okay but this isn’t when we’re opening it 😂 Clearly demand it too high for the server space they currently have. Which is a nice problem for them to have as it means many people are actively using the App. BUT really poor for us users. I have used the App considerably less this season. Opting for their Instagram updates instead that are more reliable. ### 2/5 — Used to be better *2023-01-13, version 9.0.1* I don’t know why now you can no longer vote in app, it just opens a web browser page to the itv website which is annoying at best, sometimes it doesn’t load at all. The boy I was coupled up with, to a surprise I was not happy I had spent a fiver on diamonds so I could go to the hideaway with this lad and you go ahead and dump him! I can not begin to explain the disrespect and disappointment I felt in this moment and then to make it worse you don’t let me leave with him and just expect me to get with another hairy made up lad.
