He shows me love in other ways, but the app isn’t something he checks on his own and finds useful. Sometimes I forget about it myself. ### 4/5 — Please consider my suggestion!! *2026-02-06, version 5.2.8* First of all, I am very grateful to Dr. Chapman for discovering the Love Languages and for his many books on them! So many relationships have been improved as a result, including my marriage relationship! I appreciate this app and suggest that it be modified so we could add in our Children. Wouldn’t it be great for the app to help us fill their Love Tanks as well? ### 4/5 — Great app, but Needs Backdating Option *2025-08-21, version 5.2.8* This is a GREAT app for so many reasons! My only wish is the ability to mark goals from a previous day. Sometimes, especially with more personal goals, I don’t want to pull out my phone in the moment — it feels like checking a box instead of being present. I usually reflect each morning on the day before, and it would be wonderful to check off goals at that time. ### 3/5 — Notes and such *2025-07-13, version 5.2.8* While I do feel that the app is helpful in tracking ideas and I can see it helping to know how your partners Love Bucket is doing. I do have some issues regarding the live bucket. My primary one is when you change your Love Bucket percent you do have the option to make a note But there is no way to retrieve it. Your partner doesn’t see the note either. If there is a change and a note is made, it ought to be something that can be retrieved. Otherwise what is the point of making a note? ### 3/5 — Yes but *2024-11-15, version 5.2.8* The Love Nudge app is quite useful and we appreciate it. However, some of the content is so very small that I can’t read it. Also when writing a reply to my wife, I can’t see her message because it is too low and hidden by my keyboard as I type my reply. I also can’t see the right hand side of my message because it is hidden behind the Send button. I would gladly raise my rating if these issues were fixed. Thank you ### 2/5 — Great idea *2024-06-15, version 5.1.7* I was a good idea and enjoyed the process However it seems they want you to use the website instead. It’s really annoying to have “no in app pitches allowed” every time you click on something. Nothing to do with my settings it’s cause they want you to purchase through website. ### 3/5 — No option to message *2024-04-09, version 5.1.7* It is nice to be able to let your partner know how full your love tank is. But I find a number to be very subjective. When you rate how full your tank is, you have then opportunity to write a note. BUT that note is NOT visible to your partner. Only you. I think this is a BIG failure of this app. Because this is the perfect place to bring up the reason you decided on your number. It’s a great spot for your partner to go and look for hints on how you felt well loved or how you might do better next time. My partner and I are great at communicating, but we are both guilty of not bringing up something small that’s bothering us, just to not interrupt a moment that’s already good. To be able to message these thoughts in the app when you send your partner an update on how full your tank is, would be really helpful. It would be a great way to bring up how you could have felt more loved, without putting the other person on the spot or make them feel attacked. Because let’s face it, bringing these things up in the moment… can sometimes lead to expressing it in a way that was more emotionally charged than you wanted to come across. The whole point of this app is to help love each other better. I really hope they add a messaging part to it, specifically attached to the tank rating sound he so helpful. ### 3/5 — Good but… *2024-02-14, version 5.1.7* I really like the idea of the app, but I can’t figure out how to use it! I’ve tried watching a YouTube and figuring it out on my own, but I don’t know how to share my goals to my husband, and I don’t know how to fill his tank! A better, instructional video would be very helpful! ### 1/5 — Requires an account *2024-01-27, version 5.1.7* Requires an email + password and doesn’t support google or apple login. The password field isn’t detected as a password so iOS doesn’t suggest or store the password. Sorry but nobody wants to have to remember passwords anymore. Please address this issue soon. Thank you Update: I seriously wanted to love this app, my husband and I could truly use the help. However, trying to even get logged into this app is a complete nightmare. Nothing unfortunately has changed with the app for the better since the last time I tried logging into it. Today, I got as far as trying to reset my password, requesting a code, copied the code. Went to put the code in. The app had somehow gone backwards, was asking for my password again. There was no way to try to move forward to where I could put the code in. So I gave up and deleted the app. Hopefully in the future the developers will read through the comments and see that major testing needs to happen, to fix issues. Based on some of the reviews, it seems some are getting help with the app, that is great. Unfortunately it doesn’t work at all for our marriage, because we cannot even get into the app. At this point, I don’t recommend the app. It needs work. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2025-04-01, version 5.2.8* First, I was misled by what this app was. I looove the idea of love languages (though I’m very even & think they are ALL IMPORTANT) I do know for some, it’s very polar. So to assess ourselves for the other to see what we lean on really does help. & then I made my task list of things I can do from afar that touch on his top 3 & minorly on the other two. It is SOOOOOO HELPFUL to have a list on hand to work from to ponder over & think - hmm these I can do EVERYDAY & these might be fun surprises to really make him feel loved. I hope he uses it too cause I feel most loved when my partner just puts in the extra effort to make me feel thought about & little games or ways to connect, small or big, makes me feel safe, secure, & wanted.
