There are never enough gems given at the beginning of the game to do anything with. They require you to purchase gem packs which not everyone can afford. The clothing and choices cost way to much and gems are hard to come by in these games. I was so excited for this game and I couldn’t even get through the first episode because of how expensive every thing is. ### 1/5 — Trash *2023-03-12, version 1.0.3* Trash ### 1/5 — Not worth the time. *2023-03-11, version 1.0.3* First choice is 30 diamonds!! That says ALOT. But it loads all of my other apps no problem EXCEPT for all of my fuse box apps. I’m getting seriously frusterated with this and I’m about to delete all of their apps and call it a day.😑 stg I’m this close👌 ### 1/5 — Why is everything so expensive? *2023-03-10, version 1.0.3* Honestly I’ve enjoyed the Love Island games so I thought this would be similar but all of the choices and clothes are WAY more expensive than the love island games and it’s the exact same concept only with royals instead of a dating show. They should have kept the price points from previous games. The cost of gems are expensive but it’s not like I was finna buy it anyways because of how boring the story is. There is no way to earn diamonds just to let y’all know. When I played the first episode I could already tell who the writers favor… this app is disrespectful towards the royale family. The story really isn’t going anywhere cause it feels like your in a boring lecture. Most of the conversations felt like a quiz… I wish I could give this 0 stars. Fusebox (the creators) really went into a downward spiral since their Love Island games. everything is twice as expensive and the outfits and hairstyles are just plain ugly. If you want a non expensive gem app I suggest Too Hot To Handle (netflix game) and Winked. I would say the Love Island ones are good but they’re slightly expensive, although not even close to this trash “royale” game. They need to scrap this app and do another one; completely missed the mark on the royal storyline. I’ll spend real money once a game has grasped me and I’m really enjoying it enough to think I’ll be playing it a long time. Dangling every single choice with a far too expensive options is just kind of rude to your players. It feels desperate, too. Currently the choices and gameplay aren’t worth spending the ridiculous amount they’re asking for. This is a mobile game, guys. Why would anyone want to play this game when you up the price of gems and the amount of gems needed to play the game or get an outfit. It’s insane and pointless. I want to talk about using the likenesses of REAL people in this game. Do you all even have permission to use their likenesses? I’m betting not. And even if you did, I highly doubt they’d approve of being portrayed in this manner. The way they all talk, behave, and flirt with the MC is nauseating. When I downloaded this game, I expected the Royals would just be occasional background characters that we had limited contact with and the actual storyline would center around the MC and a new cast of characters. Boy was I wrong. I’m guessing this game will eventually have to be pulled from the market because I highly doubt the legality of all this. ### 1/5 — Disrespectful to Meghan *2023-03-13, version 1.0.3* What is up with the hatred towards Meghan and Harry? This game is completely bias towards Meghan, making her act and sound like someone she is not. Too many gem choices in each episode. I do wish there were more character customizations, like there are in the Love Island game. I also don't love how expensive the outfits are! I am more likely to spend (real) money if I can get more with it, so I won’t be spending much on this game. But I’m intrigued by the story so far with Volume 1! ### 2/5 — Another intriguing story ruined by absurdly expensive paid choices *2023-03-18, version 1.0.3* Ireally like the story concept for this game and if I were to rate it without consideration for how expensive the rubies are I would give it a 4-5/5 stars. I am not someone who is totally against paying for gems. BUT, like many other romance story games it is hard to appreciate this game’s merits because of apparently greedy app developers. 60 rubies for a single outfit? That’s a whole $6-7 for a single outfit which is just ridiculous. Sure, cheaper paid clothing options are offered but they still range from 20 rubies to 45. I almost couldn’t believe that anyone would be so audacious to try to charge that much for a virtual outfit. I thought the shift that Fusebox made from mostly 10 (but sometimes 15) gem choices in the first Love Island: The Game app to 17 gems per choice in LITG 2 was kind of wack. But I was willing to let it slide because I liked the story and game overall, and there were other ways I could get gems without spending real money, like the daily login rewards. However, Love Royale has no such features. The only way to obtain rubies, seemingly, is to buy them. So about 17 gems or $2-3 per choice (and sometimes more when more than one paid choice is given) is ridiculous. There are SO many romance choice games out there these days that someone has to be a really really big fan of the royal family to be willing to spend that much money on this one game when they can play so many others for less money and often better content. And I’m just not a big enough fan to justify paying that kind of money for this game despite how much I’m liking it so far. Which is really disappointing! Also are new episodes not being released weekly? ### 2/5 — Corny! *2023-03-12, version 1.0.3* England royals, can’t come up with your own characters have to use these people? Can’t believe they put Kate, Meghan, Harry and William as well as the queen. I waited for this game only to play their drama. Waste of time and wait ### 2/5 — Just like every gem game *2023-03-10, version 1.0.3* Every choice that you would want to make cost a lot of gems you start out with like 40 gems then the first choice costs more than half then the next choice you would want to make cost too much. My advice would be to definitely lower the cost of choices because i wanted to play the game badly but then i saw the gem cost and simply just deleted the game.
