Now, I’m a grandmother and, well, better late than never when it comes to Lovevery. The learning materials are high quality and spot on in terms of a child’s readiness and development. The articles on different topics ( just read the one on reading, books, and toddlers) are so thoughtful, smart, and authoritative. Hats off to the people at Lovevery. Every time I would click on the email it would tell me that the code expired but i had just gotten it. ### 1/5 — Content doesn’t fit in the screen *2026-01-04, version 1.7.4* I can’t see all the content because it is outside the screen ### 1/5 — Why is EVERYTHING a subscription these days?? *2025-12-01, version 1.7.2* I ordered 4 years of play kits. That’s about $1,920 our one income home has given to this company on our very limited budget. Because I believe in the benefits these toys bring and I value the education their app brought along with them. Another thing I believe in? Sustainability. So we took good care of our kits in order to pass them along to our subsequent children, knowing that the app was still there to help me remember all the great ways we can use these kits, beyond what’s included in the paper play guide. It truly made the whole subscription worth it. Well, around age 4, the play kits weren’t engaging my child the way they used to and we couldn’t justify the $40/month, so I sadly ended the kit subscription. But I still had the app to help me with my younger 2 children. And now, I go to check it out and it’s $12/month?? I mean, I get that it’s a great resource and maybe those who haven’t ordered the play kits should be asked to pay, but I seriously have to pay $12 a month just because I’m not buying all new kits for my younger children? Where’s the sustainability in that? I think it’s ridiculous. $1,920 in toys should buy a lifetime app subscription anyway. I’m just frustrated and disappointed. Ever since I added my second child, the app is very glitchy and I cannot toggle back and forth as expected. It’s hard to keep track of things now. Also, the audio is no longer available in all of the podcasts. All we see is the transcript. I like the toys themselves and loved how the app suggests activities and explained each toy in the kit. My disappointment came once I cancelled my subscription. I was expecting to lose access to all the extra info, but was shocked that I was cut off from the explanation and activities for the playkits already purchased. If I want learn about a toy I purchased in the 9 months kit, I cannot, unless I pay for an ongoing subscription. This is awful. I understand that I will not get full access no longer being a subscriber, but surely I should still be able to see what I had already purchased.
