My clinic was closed and at 11:30 PM it was my navigator on the line with me as my partner drove me to the emergency department. Those that are complaining insurance didn’t read the consent. Whenever I confront them about not keeping up with their monthly benefit they tell me I already got it, when I clearly have proof that I didnt. They will try to avoid you and make it seem like youre wrong. Do NOT go with these people, and before they want to come at me I have plenty of proof. ### 1/5 — SCAM to bill insurance *2026-06-09* Absolute scam of a service promoted as additional monitoring during pregnancy. They bill your insurance for services your OBGYN is already providing at your routine visits. If your doctor’s office promotes this service, question how they are providing additional value to your medical care. The app itself doesn’t provide anymore information than a quick google search or any other pregnancy app. DO NOT SIGN UP. ### 1/5 — Logged out *2026-05-24, version 1.77.0* I’ve been logged out and no matter the attempts to log in, it says the user does not exist despite me using it for months now. I’m not sure if it’s because of a recent update or not. ### 1/5 — horrible charge *2026-04-20, version 1.73.0* Do NOT download and sign in account! this service was not clearly explained and the costs are unexpected. Our OB recommended that using this app to track patient’s health for free(insurance covered). However, my insurance PPO does not fully cover and it still charge us a couple of hundred per month!! ### 1/5 — PITA fraud Lovu *2025-10-26, version 1.41* Lovu health engages in fraud to charge your insurance monthly, without your approval. They will not refund your money back on request. They pester you to install this app and upload your readings, but will ignore your requests to refund their unwarranted charges! ### 1/5 — Do NOT download this App!- Charged Hundreds Without Consent *2025-09-20* Hope everyone could see my review before downloading this app. Lōvu charged hundreds of dollars as subscription fees through my OB office to my insurance and me, while didn’t provide any services. I strongly feel that this is a scam. They would also say that they would send you some “free” devices. However, believe me, you would not need those if you are seeing an OB, or you can buy things yourself and those stuff would not worth the money they charged. I only download the app and registered the account after the staff in my OB office recommended it. I did not use the app after registering. Later I began to receive hundreds of bills from my OB office and those charges are recurring. I did not know the charges were related to Lōvu at first. The bills do not give details and I was under the impression that everything from Lōvu is free, as they only mentioned about “free devices”and no one mentioned anything about subscription fees. I thought those are related to the service at my OB and paid the first two bills. However as the bills kept coming, I felt those are abnormal, as the service at my OB should not cost so much. I have tried to collect the paid money back from Lōvu for months, but as of now I still don’t have my money back. ### 1/5 — Terrible app and they won’t leave me alone post partum *2025-08-20* This app has been a nightmare for my entire pregnancy. They sent me a broken blood pressure cuff. The notifications on the app never worked. The instructions for the heart monitor was useless. And even worse, postpartum they wouldn’t leave me alone. Do not sign up! Just buy your own blood pressure cuff. They are super cheap! ### 1/5 — $183 bill from doctor’s office for downloading this app *2025-03-06* There is no subscription fee charged here via App Store. But beware this app charge you directly via OB office. When asked for official business name and address and details of billing (you’d expect that to appear on an invoice) none of the staff would provide it.
