Lower matches the first $1000 deposit toward the closing cost. And also give extra $250 if you set up a recurring deposit for any mount $5 or $10. When shopping for a mortgage I primarily look for 3 things: 1) best rate possible 2) low closing costs 2) streamlined application process. But I don’t find many aspects of it realistic, the .75 APY is not the best way to save, especially in our current inflation of 6.2%. They should partner with stock brokers and allow investing in large funds in the stock market, this would be a better app to save for a down payment on a car as it is right now. ### 3/5 — A little frustrating *2021-09-26, version 1.0.91 (151)* Well we are already in the process to close in a few days. Trying to make a deposit into our home fund and it keeps saying we have to reconnect with our bank. We get confirmation that the bank info has been connected and then try to make the deposit and it goes back to needing to reconnect. It looks like if you are just beginning to prepare to buy a home, it would be a great app. Just frustrated at the moment. ### 4/5 — Easy to Use *2021-11-18, version 1.0.98* The app is pretty straight forward and easy to use. I am able to transfer between accounts pretty seamlessly. I only wish that it was compatible with Mint, as I like to keep track of all my accounts by in one place. Lower's support team said it was a known issue that they wouldn't be fixing anytime soon. I ended up creating a temporary checking account with another bank just to transfer $1000 from my primary and then to Lower.
