I humbly request a pvp mode even against bots like super auto pets or the bazaar. ### 3/5 — Pain in the booty *2025-03-11, version 1.41* There is no where in game to read Lowlife’s abilities (executables) unless you’re actively in combat. You can’t pause to read them. You have to press and hold the icon to read the description. And if you’re killing villains too quick it will clear the description before you can read it. And if the villain is lasting longer, you don’t really have time there to read the abilities without getting slapped around. It’s making this game hard to break into. A screen to read the abilities outside of combat would make this more friendly. ### 4/5 — Fun game, would love to see some more dev *2025-02-16, version 1.41* Love the remix, would really like to see remix added to labs, grinders, and raids. Would love to see the level limits eased a bit like within 10% of your level. Would love to be able to disable a skill from your script’s list. Even in between missions where you can review the details of your companions there’s nowhere to review what your spells are and what they do. And if there is such a place then I might deduct another star for poor ui design, to be honest. However, it’s been a year or so since I’ve played and would like to start a fresh play thru. For the lowlife of me I cannot figure out how to do it. If there is a way please let me know, I tried deleting the game and reinstalling and nothing works. ### 5/5 — Great Game *2023-06-28, version 1.40* Lowlife is a fun game to pick up and play any time, whether you have 5 minutes to kill or a few hours. This game has thoughtful progression and mechanics and paces well. It doesnt fell like a grind; the quests lead you to progress organically through the levels. The in-game script market is great to trade characters. Really everything about this game is awesome. ----- One criticism i have is that at higher levels (100+), i am seeing some frame rate drop because there is so much going on. Hopefully the dev is getting enough revenue to work on some more optimization in the future. Another thing, i wish there was a menu where we could drill deeper into the scripts' stats. I would like to be able to see the specific differences in subclasses and be able to see what the different moves do before i use a script. Right now, it seems like the only way to compare scripts in-depth is to vigorously test them in-situ. Another idea: maybe in the future, there could be more script customization to further develop your team. Not the easiest to learn how to play but once you get the hang of it, it’s a nice little game to play here and there. The in-app purchase is not required but also not a waste of money if you decide to pay it (just improves some functionalities). Only ever use healing to use gambit more often and only ever take damage before my first over shield comes up. Having some buffing abilities could be interesting while still only being the support character. My “scripts” all save, but my healer and the progress of completing a level do not save. I can only do the same level over and over and as soon as I go to the main menu, all progress is wiped. Memories (the currency) is also always wiped. This game is cool but does not function. I will update to 5 stars once fixed. ### 1/5 — Fake reviews and terrible game execution *2022-10-14* The reviews act as if the games easy to understand and talk about stuff that the developers would obviously say like “hey! Thank you for responding, I found a game breaking bug, so you have any other means of contact so I can tell you the bug without other people reading” or “this game is so much fun, and of course the game isn’t for everyone but being able to play as the healer his such a great take on the game” but there isn’t a tutorial or anything and your just thrown into playing a game with some healing thing that seems to do nothing and before you even get through a minute into the first level it tells you, that you made a fatal mistake and you play again learning nothing to do and proceeding to die over and over again. The game looks good and I’m sure it would be good if you knew what you were doing and the reviews weren’t so fake **Developer response:** Hello, I would like to respectfully address some items in your review. I do not have any issue with your experience with the game itself or your rating, I understand that the game might be difficult and confusing for some to pick up, and I am working to plan out an in-game tutorial to make everyone’s first impression of Lowlife much better. This is something that can absolutely be improved. I do have issues with calling out or singling out other players of Lowlife as being fake or “developers” when that is not the case. In the instance you pointed out about the game-breaking bug, that player spent their own time out of their own day to let me know and reach out to me and report it so that I could fix it. This was not fake (nor is any other review fake). If you are curious, this one report led to the mitigation of 3 bugs with Node Points as listed in the Version 1.17 patch notes, and that was a huge help. Please use your review space to leave your feedback on Lowlife itself (whether positive or negative), and not other players or their own reviews. They electively spent their own time to write their reviews and give their feedback and that shouldn’t be discounted or minimized. Anyways, I tried this out and it literally throws you into some random chaos without any instructions or tutorial of any kind and you just die within a few moments not even knowing what to tap or what the heck you’re even supposed to be doing. Excellent job, really captured my attention. (Not really, I uninstalled in less than a minute). ### 1/5 — Too fast no worries explanation *2022-09-21, version 1.21* Seems like these 5 star reviews are paid for. There is no tutorial and the game moves too fast to even read what everything does. On top of that the third level is way too hard and you will most likely fail before the boss or on the boss.
