This app has a lot of potential, however it has a lot of bugs. If these bugs are fixed then it could be one of the main apps flight simmers would use.

It needs a free/lite version, for an app where there are plenty of free web based alternatives that have more airports and routes. With time I think it could be a great app, there are still minor bugs here and there that are to be expected with a new app. However in a market place already full of countless other subscription based services, I think the app could really benefit from a free version, even if that means having to introduce ads.

**Developer response:** We appreciate the honest feedback. On the free web based alternatives, those are fundamentally different products. A native iOS app with live activities, SimBrief export, flight scheduling and verified route data has real costs behind it including data APIs that are not cheap at scale. Apps like Navigraph don’t run ads either and nobody questions their pricing. We chose the same path because ads compromise the experience we want to deliver. The free 7-day trial means you take zero risk to find out if LOXIM is worth it to you. If it’s not, you’ve lost nothing.

Hidden fee when you open the app which is an annual subscription for 50 euros per year. Not stated in the original app description

If you’re a serious simmer you’ll already have a stack of these subscriptions to pay and this just adds onto it. 

Nonetheless, great concept to use to pick routes from airlines you like flying, just expect a large fee to use it

In my opinion, there is a first “soft lock” issue with the app.

I was simply exploring the application to understand how it works and discover its features, but very quickly I was forced to create an account or log in before being able to access anything meaningful.

From a user perspective, I think this creates unnecessary friction. As a potential customer, I want to see what I’m buying before committing to the platform. If the application closes the door before I’ve had a chance to understand its value, it becomes difficult to justify signing up in the first place.

I would suggest allowing users to freely explore some key features, sample routes, or planning tools before requiring authentication. This would help demonstrate the product’s value and create a stronger incentive to register later on.

At the moment, the onboarding feels a bit restrictive and may discourage curious users who are simply trying to evaluate the platform before making a commitment.

L’essai gratuit de 7 jours reste sans engagement et te donne un accès complet pour évaluer si la plateforme te correspond.

Die Idee: Mega. Die Umsetzung an sich auch. Aber leider kann ich weder Flüge speichern noch das Tracking nutzen. Ich kann Flüge zwar eingeben, gespeichert werden sie aber nicht. Wenn das klappt: 5 Sterne!

I liked the app, after this update there are more than 2000 routes, but the integration with simbrief is not working, but otherwise it's good

The fundamental principle behind this app is great, it lets you select flights and export them to simbrief. Although I definitely do not want to pay 5 euros for every week of using it. Adding to that you could have at least given some credit to Flighty, which’s design was one-to-one copied.

**Developer response:** LOXIM is not a scam and we’d push back on that firmly. On pricing, you’re right that v1.0 launched with a very limited free tier and we heard that feedback loud and clear. We’ve since introduced a free trial so you can explore everything and decide for yourself whether it’s worth it to you. We completely respect it either way. One thing worth correcting though: LOXIM has never been priced at €5 a week. It’s €1.99 a week or €49.99 a year, which works out to under €1 a week.
On Flighty, the two apps serve completely different purposes. Flighty is built for real world flight tracking. LOXIM is built for flight simulation, where you can browse and select your own routes, choose your aircraft, export directly to SimBrief and plan your sessions the way a flight simmer actually would. None of that exists in Flighty. As for the design, dark UI with cards and clean typography is just modern app design in 2026. Dozens of apps use Apple Maps to plot points and display routes visually. Nobody owns that. The workflows are different, the audience is different and the product is different.

Sans l’option payante à 2€ par mois, seulement 4 vols sont disponibles. J’ai immédiatement supprimé l’application après l’avoir téléchargée.

Depuis, on a revu l’expérience : LOXIM propose désormais un essai gratuit qui te permet d’explorer l’intégralité de l’app, toutes les compagnies, tous les avions, avant de t’engager. On espère que tu nous donneras une seconde chance.

This could be a really cool app but having all the features be behind a paywall and this not be mention until you’ve made an account is simply unacceptable.

I understand that app developers need to make money but having features as simple as looking up flights and filtering them by aircraft type is the kind of thing that can be gotten for free easily

I would have loved to paid for other features such as the log book but I can’t support an app that puts such basic features behind a paywall wall

Descubro pelo vídeo do criador, fiquei animado, instalei, abrir e me deparo com uma assinatura anual de 199 reais e uma assinatura mensal de 12 reais, perdi meu interesse completamente, porque no video dizia que o aplicativo era de graça e me deparo com assinatura!! Não recomendo 👎

Yes the concept is good but its not free, i dont want to pay 40€!

**Developer response:** We completely understand that not everyone wants to pay for an app. That said, LOXIM is a premium product with real costs behind it. Verified route data, FlightAware API costs, constant updates and maintaining the quality of the experience all add up. You simply cannot build and sustain something like this for free. A free 7-day trial is available so you can experience everything before deciding if it’s worth it to you.

An sich denk ich die App hat Potenzial aber niemals wenn man gezwungen wird geld auszugeben dann bringt einfach eine kostenlose version wo man nich direkt in simbrief importieren kann oder keine ahnung wo man das alles nicht tracken kann. Sonst ist die idee ganz gut und bringt bestimmt viel abwechslung aber das könnte man auch in einer testwoche niemals ausreizen da vielleicht 2 wochen oder ein free trial month machen je nachdem wie die nachfrage ist

Eine dauerhaft kostenlose Version ohne SimBrief ist leider nicht realistisch, da genau diese Funktionen erhebliche Kosten verursachen, die den Betrieb der App ermöglichen.

Erst mal möchte ich sagen, dass es echt unmöglich ist, so viel Geld zu verlangen. Ja, die Entwicklungskosten müssen gedeckt werden aber warum 50 € im Jahr das ist schon absolut Ekelhaft. Zweitens kann man nicht irgendwie ne Gratis Version davon machen also sag ich jetzt mal man hat eingeschränkte Funktion man kann weniger Flüge auswählen oder was weiß ich und drittens ich finde es einfach schade dass da ich komm noch nicht mal auf die App um. Ich muss als aller erstes immer Geld ausgeben es geht nur noch ums Geld Das Design ist ja nice und ich hab andere Leute gesehen die das nutzen auf YouTube halt oder auf Social Media das sieht schon recht cool aus aber ich möchte halt einfach nicht so viel Geld aus geben aber dafür möcht ich gerne, wenn dann eingeschränkte Funktionen haben….. danke trotzdem, dass sich jemand da hinsetzt und sowas entwickelt damit man sowas hat, damit man damit Spaß hat. Aber bitte bitte keine 50 € im Jahr. Und bitte versucht irgendwie ne Gratis Version halt weniger weniger Funktion

So kannst du alles ausprobieren und selbst entscheiden ob es dir das wert ist. Zum Vergleich: andere bekannte Apps in der Flight-Simulation-Community kosten bis zu €88 im Jahr. LOXIM liegt da deutlich darunter und wir liefern regelmäßig neue Inhalte und Updates.

I really enjoy this app because it feels better flying a real route rather then a made up route. I do suggest adding a time filter where you can choose a certain time frame and filter flights in that time frame (if that makes sense). 👍

The concept is honestly great. Being able to find any route in real life and connect it to the sim is just so convenient. Plus, the UI and UX is absolutely peak.

Ich war am Anfang über den Preis unsicher aber dann habe ich die 1 Woche Probezeit versucht und nachdem war es für mich klar dass es komplett sinnvoll ist. Klasse Onboarding, Vielfältiges Daten und ein modernes UI. Es ist für mich einer der besten App im Flugsimulator Bereich.

I love Loxim; it's such a useful tool for MSFS to find real-life flight routes and export them directly to SimBrief, instead of filling it out with mistakes. This new update added my local airport and airlines. I definitely fly more thanks to this app. I really recommend it for flight simmers, and it's definitely worth the good subscription prices.

The UI, and the way you use the app it's amazing. Being able to look at all my flights and being able to plan them ahead.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the honest feedback. We completely understand your frustration, and feedback like this has helped us realize that many users simply have not been able to experience enough of the app before hitting restrictions.

The app was never intended to be a free product, but rather a premium product with a proper trial experience. Because of that, we are currently rethinking the onboarding flow. Instead of heavily restricting features early on, we are exploring a model where users can fully experience the app for 7 days and then decide afterward if they want to continue with a subscription.

The good news is that the feedback on the product itself has actually been extremely positive. Most concerns, like yours, have been about not having enough access to fully experience everything the app offers. We definitely hear that, and we are already working on improving it.

First of all, I think this app is one of the greatest app I have ever used. Everything is completely fine.

But sometimes I have a problem that when I go into the app, the app gives me its “ tutorial”. And sometimes I am completely locked out when I opened the app. it would be great if you can solve the problem.

But I really love this app and I’ve never felt so sorted when it comes to flight simulation.
