The prodigy2 works ok, when it stays connected, but I keep getting a suggestion to update the app. I tried about a year ago and it didn’t work then. I was hoping it would work now. Nope. My Bluetooth shows my bed but the app doesn’t show it. Absolutely garbage app. If you have the Prodigy 2 app don’t delete it. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t see my bed *2024-08-12, version 1.8.0* Old app sees my bed no problem, but this one doesn’t. Waste of time. ### 1/5 — Old app was find new app doesn’t work *2024-07-07, version 1.8.0* I have used the prodigy 2 app for years with no problem and it worked fine then yesterday it completely stopped working. Had to download this new app and it does not work. Had to reset it and unplugged it twice before I finally was able to get it to connect to Bluetooth on my iPhone, but the app will not recognize it even though it is showing up in Bluetooth connected on iPhone. Total garbage as I can see from the other reviews. Can you at least bring back Prodigy 2 so we have something that at least works?! ### 1/5 — Still can’t get this damned app to recognize my bed. *2024-03-16, version 1.8.0* Was hopeful this would be an improvement on the last app for my Prodigy 2 bed. Cant even get it to recognize my bed, despite trying all the scant troubleshooting guidance. The blue tooth symbol in the R/H corner is red and stay red even after following 3 of their 4 step troubleshooting guide. Step 4 was to call them. My older iPhone app (Prodigy 2) still connects and works. After 1/2 hour on hold I gave up. I won’t even give this crap a half star. Before the forced update my bed was connected and now it says it isn’t discoverable and I need to forget the device. ### 1/5 — Does not connect *2023-02-24, version 1.4.0* They push this new app but it won’t add bed via Bluetooth. I got an email about my review from them and they asked I call for help. So I called twice. Each time I was on hold for over 60 minutes waiting for someone to answer. So I decided to give up on calling and sent them an email requesting help over 1 month ago. Still no response! Thanks! ### 1/5 — New app Fails to connect to Prodigy 2.0 beds *2023-02-01, version 1.3.0* BT (Bluetooth) is discoverable and links perfect to L&P Prodigy 2 app…but now every time you run P2 app it it prompts you for the new app that cannot discover the BT on P2. Followed steps listed on new app but it’s not able to discover any beds . ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Junk App *2026-07-21, version 2.11.0* The App worked in 2017 when I purchased the adjustable bed frame .. stopped working after a few years . And like the other review stated .. blue tooth shows connected yet app will Not recognize it ! Total junk don’t purchase this bed frame thinking you’ll have access to remote control access ### 1/5 — Why *2026-07-10, version 2.11.0* Why has the app not been working lately? If it does open and finds my bed it doesn’t have the vibrating option ### 1/5 — Barely works *2026-06-02, version 2.10.0* All the custom position buttons recently completely broke. They don’t do anything. A while ago the up/down buttons were changed so that you can’t hold down anymore. You have to tap and each time the bed adjusts like 1 inch. They clearly don’t test their iOS app. The android version works perfectly. ### 1/5 — Does not recognize bed *2026-02-13, version 2.9.0* My phone sees the bed; the app does not. And after looking online, there are countless people with the same issue. I called the number like the app advised. The woman said ‘yeah that’s not gonna work, it’s for our newer beds’. I asked why they got rid of the old app? She said ‘that’s a 2017 base.’ I said ‘it’s a $1600 bed frame’ she said ‘SO? It’s just like an iPhone, they’re $1000’ That’s when I hung up, Honestly, this is my last L&P product that I’m ever going to buy. Functional obsolescence for a luxury product. It’s shameful. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t allow syncing an upperflex *2026-02-11, version 2.9.0* There is no way to control head 1 and head 2 at the same time, you have to repeatedly toggle back and forth ### 1/5 — App is broke -where’s old 2.0 app *2026-01-06, version 2.8.0* The old app worked. This one and the other LP app don’t work. LP make a great adjustable bed. Without a remote, it’s just a bed. ### 1/5 — LP Control app doesn’t connect *2025-12-03, version 2.8.0* I still use the old app. This new one that comes up in a suggestion every time I open the old app never finds or sees our beds. Update. The old app stopped working and this one still doesn’t connect. These apps are virtually useless for me. The only issue is the Under bed light is sometimes on when the app shows it’s off. Otherwise, no complaints ### 3/5 — Adequate, compared to the other options *2023-02-13, version 1.4.0* I used to use the other app on the App Store because this one couldn’t find my bed. I gave it another shot more recently though and it was able to connect. While this app is, in some ways, an upgrade from the other, it’s still not what I expect for the cost of my bed. The biggest complaint I have is that when I leave my bedroom, my phone gives a notification that the app disconnected from the bed. For some reason, this notification can’t be controlled in iOS or in-app settings - it’s like a system-level alert. It’s loud and it overtakes my screen and blocks whatever I’m doing. Sometimes, it will repeat itself if I’m in and out of the radius of the bed’s BT range, like if I walk past my room but don’t go in, it will passively connect so then when I walk away it disconnects and alerts me again. I don’t understand the purpose of this alert and it seems that only the developers would be able to disable it. Please do so! ### 2/5 — Worked perfectly until the last update.. *2026-05-31, version 2.10.0* …now when you open the app nothing works until you close it and then reopen it. ### 2/5 — Good but light issue is major *2025-07-26, version 2.7.0* Generally mimics remote Except the light turns on randomly and neither app or remote can turn it off. Have had to sleep with it on multiple nights. Sometimes Have to reset bed by unplugging. All this and can’t figure out rhyme or reason as to why it turns itself On sometimes. Major flaw considering room is otherwise blackout. ### 2/5 — Functional but a UI disaster *2023-10-25, version 1.7.0* Latest update made worse an already awful design. Seems like it wasn’t tested on smaller screens (iPhone SE 2nd Gen.) because buttons overlap. Hate how easy it is to accidentally save a position - that shouldn’t be such an easily accessible option.
