I left a 1 star review because it does have new defender VIN information. 
The app does seem to note older Land Rovers. 
It was created before new defenders started production. 
I gave it 3 stars now. I input an older defender and it did not give very much helpful information. But at .99 cents, there are some that don’t it helpful.
