The app is constantly slow, takes ages for upload of some MB despite proper WLAN connection, and is totally useless on iPad OS. I can only recommend to use Sync and Share via browser on a computer.

Kein Vergleich zu Dropbox!!! Viel zu langsames synchronisieren, Automatisierung funktioniert schlecht!

Auf iPhone und iPad derzeit unbrauchbar. Die App kommuniziert scheinbar nicht korrekt mit der Dateien-App von Apple, man kann Daten nicht „ad-hoc“ innerhalb der Dateien-App laden und in der LRZ App bereits geladene Dateien lassen sich in der Dateien-App nicht öffnen oder kopieren etc.. Zudem ist das „Teilen“-Menü innerhalb der LRZ-App komplett leer, es gibt also keine Möglichkeit, an seine Dateien ranzukommen. Sehr frustrierend, da die Integration mit der Dateien-App ja erst einen flüssigen Workflow ermöglicht (wie es mit allen anderen Cloud-Speicherdiensten die ich nutze möglich ist). Die Alternative, Dateien vom LRZ über den Webbrowser runterzuladen um sie dann zu teilen oder zu öffnen ist unzumutbar.

Synchronisiert einfach gar nicht. 50GB von der Hochschule schön und gut aber einfach überhaupt nicht zuverlässig. Geht etwas besser über den Browser aber bei weitem nicht so gut wie Own-/Nextcloud

Ich verwende Sync&Share hauptsächlich, weil es mir Datenschutztechnisch wesentlich sympatischer als Dropbox, OneDrive oder Google ist. Auf der anderen Seite ist Sync&Share im Vergleich zu den „großen“ Brüdern sehr ressourcenhungrig (siehe Taskmanager; liegt ggf an der benötigten Java-Runtime).

Was mich am meisten stört, es kam bei mir schon 2-3 mal zu Problemen bei der Synchronisation. Letztes mal wurde ein Ordner auf dem Mobilgerät einfach nicht mehr angezeigt, den ich dringend benötigt hätte. Pech :-(
Auf dem PC im Büro waren die Daten noch da und der Support konnte  mir auch helfen, aber der Termin für den ich Zugangsdaten gebraucht hätte lief dann ohne mich ab.

Auch ansonsten sind die Funktionen dieses Cloudspeichers eher spärlich. Die Suche kann keine Wildcards. Nur Word- und Powerpoint-Dateien lassen sich bearbeiten. Txt wird readonly angezeigt und für die Anzeige von Excel-Tabellen muss ich andere Software bemühen.

Pro:
Das Update sieht schöner aus wie zuvor. 

Contra:
Wenn ich ein Dokument aus einem Ordner öffnen und dieses dann Lokal weiter bearbeiten möchte (Button rechts oben mit dem Pfeil nach oben, bei der Dokumentenvorschau). Dann wird immer das alphabetisch erste Dokument im Ordner herunter geladen, jedoch nicht das Dokument welches gerade geöffnet ist.

Einen direkten Download Button gibt es leider auch nicht. 

So hat man nur die Möglichkeit das Dokument zu umzubenennen, sodass es ganz oben im Ordner steht, dann kann man es auch herunterladen.

Ich fände die Idee schön, wenn man eine App vom Sync & Share hätte und sich nicht immer im Webbrowser anmelden muss. Leider hat die App viel zu viele Bugs und funktioniert einfach nicht:

- Absturz ab und zu 
- keine Synchronisation von Daten (selbst nach Tagen, nachdem sie im Webbrowser hochgeladen wurden)
- Dokumente Öffnen nicht / langsam und lassen sich zumindest auf dem Handy kaum bearbeiten
- auf dem iPad sieht die Situation ähnlich aus. Das Öffnen der Dokumente ist ebenfalls fehlerhaft 

Wenn mein Dokumente nicht synchronisiert werden und sich bearbeiten lassen, ist die App einfach sinnlos. Schade, vielleicht wird es ja noch besser. Bis dahin lösche ich sie allerdings und gehe einfach über den Webbrowser rein.
