I think it would be great to start out with if you really struggle with lsat thinking. If you value precision and accuracy in your explanations or want to fully understand the test, this is not for you-- often the explanations are incomplete or incorrect, which I find alarming. If you're trying to increase a low diagnostic a few points it might be useful to use the "common-sense method," but if you really want to maximize your score I'd suggest the LawHub explanations or 7sage. However, they do offer some analytics (7sage is still better with this, though) and the interface is fairly easy to use and intuitive. I started practicing back in April 2024 and had no idea who to go to/ trust. I met a few awesome 170+ scorers on TikTok and they all said LSAT Demon was the best and I 100% agree. If you’re a beginner, PLEASE DO NOT pay $500+ on private tutor. Trust Nate, Ben, and the other tutors on this platform because their advice is game changing if you’re lost. It’s now a few months into the demon and I went up 15 points. This app is literally no bs just common sense and I appreciate that as someone who has got scammed by tutoring companies prior to learning about this app. **Developer response:** Thanks for sharing your experience. Trust the process and drill every day and you’ll be on the way to conquering the LSAT asap. ### 4/5 — Good Content - Poor UI *2025-09-06* The IOS apps for both iPad and IPhone have inconsistent UI’s with the website, which is a shame because the test is on a tablet. Highlighting and underlining features a visibly absent or hidden. There’s a lot of very helpful content hidden in hyperlinks and not necessarily organized in a way to maximize utility. The free version is nice (thank you Ben & Nate), but the paid version is much better. The classes are awesome. The question analysis is phenomenal. They are very simple, short and straightforward, and I love this style. They do not overexplain and confuse your brain. I love simplicity and my brain thinks in this way so this has been a lifesaver for me. The study plans are well worth it. Literally hours and hours of videos if you are more of a “have it taught directly to me on my own time” kind of person like me, who couldn’t afford an expensive tutor session plan (even though the LSAT Demon even has reasonably priced tutoring available as well). I’m so very grateful not just for the team that has put it all together, but even for all of the help of the individuals who have gone out of their way for me. These people genuinely want to share with you how easy the LSAT can be, and have a genuine interest in seeing you perform at your highest potential. The study resources are incredibly accessible on this app. Almost everything available on browsers is available just as easily in the iOS app. Every single LSAT question features detailed explanations to help you learn from every mistake and continually improve. Combined with the podcasts and other media, the LSAT Demon share clear, blunt truths about both how to improve on the exam and how to navigate the law school application process. I cannot recommend it more highly. It’s glitching out and reloads the page every 2 seconds when I am trying to attempt a question. ### 1/5 — CTRL+F FEATURE DOES NOT WORK *2025-12-23, version 2.7.97* The CTRL+F feature does NOT work on iPhone. Now it’s just a testing app. Correct or incorrect. ### 1/5 — App is buggy *2025-11-04, version 2.7.88* I keep selecting specific question types to drill, turning demon mode off. But the questions will not actually be the ones I selected, creating confusion. For example, I was drilling weakening questions and once I felt comfortable enough with them I switched it to strengthening. But the drills kept showing me weaken questions, throwing me off, causing me to choose the wrong answers because I had my strengthen mindset locked in. Please fix this. ### 1/5 — App is no longer functional *2025-06-25* I can no longer use the review inbox feature on the app. When I click on a question in my review inbox, it keeps saying “Members who subscribe to LSAT Demon can use the app.” I am subscribed. I have closed and reopened the app, I have logged out and logged back in, I have gone online on mobile which then prompts me to use the app and go to the app and it still doesn’t work. I can drill my inbox and all the other features on the app work, but I can’t read through previous questions and work them one by one anymore. I wish I had found them sooner, I wouldn’t have wasted my time, money, and test attempts. I’ll be pushing anyone to the Demon I can (sounds kind of satanic when I re read this haha). I’ve seen many say that Ben and Nate are arrogant and terrible teachers, but I say, “but are they wrong?!” Best explanations, best app, best drilling, and the content is endless. The Demon team is there to help. Keep it up guys. ### 5/5 — 180 stars *2025-12-21* My close classmate and friend, Annie Dunning, SWORE by this app. She recommended it to me after several others hadn’t taught me much of anything. Unfortunately, a personal tragedy has postponed my LSAT prepping and final test taking, yet I’ve had the premium subscription for a year now, and the times I’ve accessed it have proved it’s well worth the cost! I never believed much in prep until my friend told me for her diagnostic she got a 148, first LSAT (after the Demon) a 165, second LSAT, a 169, third time? A 173 and a full ride to Georgetown. The co-creators are great and have hired a team of LSAT tutors to teach regularly scheduled lessons, which can always be accessed later on if something comes up and you miss one. Their motto is essentially that the LSAT is easy, stop stressing, focus and be patient, and you’ll get to where you want to go. I’ve only taken it once without much prep at all, but still managed a little over a 160, which I completely credit to the app. I’ll take it a final time in April. Cheers and have a wonderful day. ### 5/5 — Best interface for practice *2025-09-15* LSAT Demon has the best offerings I’ve seen for practicing the LSAT. Between the dashboard ratings, adaptive drilling, sections, tests, and smooth interface. It doesn’t give you a headache and makes studying feel a tiny bit glamorous instead of replicating a test center vibe. That being said, I would not use this service solely and never try LawHub prior to your official LSAT. Everyone is different, but I’d expect for most people just a bit of exposure to the dupe test environment is enough, and LSAT Demon is fine for the rest of your studies. The lessons, videos, podcasts, and general advice are all very helpful.
