Awesome thank

### 5/5 — Great tutors

*2024-01-31, version 2024.02*

I used the app for the content. But what was most helpful was my tutor, Mika Macdonald. I was only able to practice for 4 weeks before my exam, and all while working full time. In this time, my score bumped up 4 points!

Would recommend

### 5/5 — Amazing Tutoring Program

*2024-01-30, version 2024.02*

The curriculum LSAT Max provides is stellar, but by far my best improvements came from their tutoring program. I was tutored by Mika Macdonald; they were incredibly helpful and personalized our sessions to best fit a study plan to my needs and goals. Couldn’t recommend enough after getting back my test results!

### 4/5 — Amazing

*2024-01-24*

I am learning for the lsat and i find this an amazing way to do so, but it is a bit pricey for me…

### 5/5 — Nate Stein is the LSAT God!

*2023-12-22, version 2023.15*

I have been tutoring with Nate Stein for several weeks and he has been amazing! Dude knows his stuff and is an extremely kind and understanding person. Additionally, he provides great insight and advice concerning information about the LSAT besides the core principles (Study Strategies, Testing Scheduling, and Timing Principles). He’s just a tremendous tutor who is committed to helping his students. Very lucky to have him on my team!

### 5/5 — Nate Stein

*2023-12-21, version 2023.15*

Nate always goes above and beyond to make sure his students succeed. Whenever I had a question on a particular topic or wasn’t quite grasping a new piece of information, he would find creative ways to explain the concept to me using helpful metaphors and a range of examples. Nate’s patience is unmatched, and he approaches each explanation with a level of enthusiasm you could expect from someone teaching something for the first time, even though I’m sure he’s covered these topics many times over. I couldn’t have asked for a better tutor to work with and am so grateful for Nate’s help!

### 5/5 — Exceeds my expectations

*2023-12-12, version 2023.14*

I can’t imagine my journey without LSATMax!

### 1/5 — Caution

*2023-12-04, version 2023.14*

Company has blocked access to the product. They have indicated that, “We are not revoking your lifetime access”, (which was an option at the time of purchase), however blocking my access because I access the product through multiple devices. For convenience I have accessed the product via my IPad and through my organization laptop. Their website appears indicates that, “with the convenience of a course you can access on web or mobile…”. I have attempted to resolve the matter, however found their response unreasonable and arbitrary.

It seems like a great product. However based on my experience I would suggest you proceed with caution. The product is not cheap and if they can chose not to honor your purchase, you may not be able to reap the full potential of the product.

### 3/5 — It’s adequate.

*2023-09-18*

The first few lessons are great, but then it fizzles out a bit. I was under the impression that each practice question had video explanations, but this was only the case with the free lessons. The instructor also dedicates entire videos on how to diagram questions only for him to choose not to use those same principles in later questions. For instance, there is an entire video dedicated on how to diagram “quantifier” statements which are statement that use the words “some,” “most,” and “all.” The very next lesson we come across a question RIDDLED with these quantifier words and the instructor doesn’t even acknowledge that these words exists. He then proceeds to diagram the passage in a COMPLETELY different way than he taught us in the ENTIRE previous “Quantifiers” lesson. I wonder if there are better LSAT prep courses our there because this one definitely has its short comings.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. Every question includes detailed explanations, both videos as well as written explanations so please contact Customer Service directly in the app or by calling us at 855.483.7862 if you are having trouble finding them.

Also, you can reach out and schedule a call with your instructors to discuss your concerns about S & N and Quantifiers. They will quickly remove any confusion you are having.

You can also chat with Ross, our director of LSAT Content, in our Discord. Hope this helps!

### 1/5 — Too many problems for the price

*2023-06-15, version 2023.06*

There are way too many glitches and other issues for such an expensive course. I got this LSAT prep service specifically because I wanted something I could use in an app and online, but the app isn’t even useful. Lots of practice questions are missing explanations (video or written) across all platforms; your course progress doesn’t synch accurately across devices/applications; there are lots of glitches in the app & website, including some that cause correct answers to be marked wrong (and visa versa); and there are even typos/glitches throughout the practice problems that mess up the punctuation (e.g., change all commas into question marks).

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — BEWARE - has pivoted to offensive religious content

*2026-04-01, version 2026.01*

All the old five star reviews are from before LSATMax began sending evangelical Christian propaganda to all new students. The company is now effectively just the CEO’s born again Christian personal pet project.

Also, almost none of the tutors listed on their instructors page are still with the company, you can’t book tutoring with them no matter how much you’re willing to spend and if you look them up on LinkedIn they all have other jobs now.

### 1/5 — App issues

*2026-03-01, version 2026.01*

No support response

### 1/5 — App randomly stops working

*2026-02-27, version 2026.01*

Doesn’t allow access to materials randomly & support takes days to respond.

### 1/5 — They stole my money and want more

*2026-01-13, version 2025.05*

I purchased this premium product and the links don’t work. This seems like a fake company. Buyer beware. Please help.

### 1/5 — Horrible UI

*2025-08-27, version 2025.04*

tried doing the daily drills, it doesn’t even show the reading portion you’re supposed to respond to. I clicked all around, shouldn’t be this hard to locate the passage lol !!!!

### 1/5 — 176 no thanks to this company

*2024-11-22*

Stupidly bought the $1000 subscription and virtually only used it for the test infrastructure (which you can get with a law hub subscription alone) because I did not find the memorization based test method effective for me. I assume most of these reviews are from a time before there was decent test prep competition or from people that don’t know better. If you don’t believe me look at what the LSAT subreddit has to say about this service.

When I stopped using this service my high practice test was a 166 (up from a cold diagnostic of a 158). I ended up switching to 7sage and then LSAT Demon but there are also a lot of other good options out there.

After switching I had to relearn how to approach a lot of question types but was able to get practice tests into the low 170s within 2-3 months. I studied for another several months with a high practice test of 180 and my ten most recent test before the real test averaging 174.5. I scored a 176 on my final lsat no thanks to this service.

**Developer response:** 7Sage has less half the number of reviews as LSATMax and LSAT Demon has a total of 39 reviews.

LSATMax is not only the #1-rated course on the market but our students average 18-point score increases.

Maybe it is because we are the most personal LSAT prep course on the market. Every student has the cell phone number of our CEO and lead instructor in LSATMax.

We would recommend calling him if you are not finding the program useful, particularly since you invested $1000. He will get you on the right track with the materials.

We also have a Discord that allows students to chat with Ross, our director of LSAT Content, at any time. You can also reach out to him with any questions or concerns.

### 1/5 — Purchased lifetime subscription, cannot access

*2024-10-07, version 2024.13*

I purchased a lifetime subscription years ago when I was considering going to law school. I have decided to take the lsat this year but am now unable to access the purchased material, even after having provided proof of my LSAC registration for this year (as the Test Max team required). I am unable to reach anyone at Test Max and have been following up for days. I haven’t had this negative of a customer service experience in quite some time

### 1/5 — THIS IS A SCAM

*2024-08-13, version 2024.11*

Do not download this app. They ask for tons of personal info to access two study tools and then everything else costs hundreds. There is no way to delete your account, and when I messaged customer support they disabled that function in the app. This is not a test prep app. It is a data harvesting scheme. Protect yourself and don’t download this.

### 1/5 — Do not spend your money!

*2024-05-06, version 2024.07*

I paid over $1200 for lifetime access to the course. My test was scheduled when COVID happened and my plans changed. 2 years after, I tried to access my app and they flagged me and won’t give me access. I feel robbed! Don’t waste your money!

### 1/5 — Do not invest your money in this

*2024-02-08, version 2024.03*

I bought their course and tutoring hours. Do not spend you’re money. Their are better lsat course for cheaper. I asked for a refund on my tutoring hours since I don’t like the way there tutoring are set up and they denied me a refund . Now I paid for a
Service that I am not using.

### 5/5 — Awesome trainers

*2025-09-08, version 2025.04*

Thanks for providing great lessons for learners and your model of two way online training definitely works ; wish you had in person classes

### 5/5 — I Love This App

*2025-04-06, version 2025.01*

This app is beyond helpful and amazing! I appreciate all the free help they offer while pre-preparing for going full-out with them! I think this is such a wonderful addition to technology, when educators use it to enhance scholarship and also their pockets. We have to be supportive of both, in a time when education is so looked down upon, we need to value even more true educators and the extremes they go to promoting purposeful business/academic endeavors.

### 5/5 — Very Helpful

*2025-03-02, version 2024.18*

I originally was using the Stanley Kaplan courses and thought I was doing well but when I got my scores back I was not thrilled to say the least. I ended up finding this course and added in some tutoring sessions. This improved my scores drastically all thanks to LSAT Max and ofc my tutor Nate Stein for all his help. He was very understanding, knowledgeable, and even fun to work with during the whole process.

### 5/5 — Great Tutor & Prep Program

*2024-11-27, version 2024.16*

I joined LSATMax when I was frustrated, and not seeing improvement in my score for a few weeks. The website is helpful as it gives a detailed explanation for each question and allows you to practice by question type. However, the most helpful aspect for me was the one-on-one tutoring with Nate Stein. He helped me pinpoint specific strategies that would help me maximize my study time, as well as result in the greatest score increase. Plus, he’s super easy to talk to and work with! After working with him, I saw an 11 point increase by exam day. I’d recommend LSATMax, and Nate Stein as a tutor.

### 5/5 — LSAT Max

*2024-11-02, version 2024.13*

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently used this study program, and it’s clear that it was developed by true experts. The content is well-researched and genuinely helpful. I am especially appreciative of Nate for all of his help. He’s an exceptional educator! Nate's engaging teaching style, friendly personality, and evident expertise made a huge difference in my practice test scores. He really knows how to break down complex topics and keeps you motivated. Highly recommend this program for anyone looking to boost their LSAT performance.

### 5/5 — Consulting Package

*2024-09-26, version 2024.13*

I signed up for one of the admissions consulting packages and worked with Nate. His guidance was extremely helpful, and his advice gave me valuable insight into how to make the best case for myself that I could. Based on my experience, I’d definitely recommend LSAT Max and Nate!

### 5/5 — Consulting with Nate S.

### 5/5 — Amazing resource to work at your own pace with guidance and tutoring option

*2024-04-15, version 2024.05*

I started studying with LSATMaxPrep after being recommended by multiple friends at my university! The lesson plan and materials are such a great way to lay a foundation down in the first few months of studying and be familiar with all things LSAT. Then there are weekly office hours on every single subject and topic as well as all the recording of past ones in a library, so that there is always an available resource to target specific areas of improvement. So far I have had one tutoring session which was great and helped me make a personalized schedule and understand what kind of test taker I am. It’s feels so personalized and yet universal! I highly recommend!
