Needs digital expertise, full of typos and strange friction for the user which suggest lack of investment and therefore cheap development. I imagine any ‘savings’ they may have anticipated through digital ticketing are negated through on the door issues with such a dodgy app, login (not the same account!!??) etc. To be fair I had already seen the below comments so was expecting an odd and poor experience but my additional gripe is that it says it supports wallet but this is not the case, I have no option which I would have liked, to add the tickets to my Apple wallet. ### 1/5 — Stupid Stupid Stupid *2022-06-16, version 3.9.8* I have been sent a link by email for tickets to LTA Queens tournament. I downloaded the app, set up an account with my personal email but can’t transfer the tickets in because the link was sent to my work email and it is impossible to edit my profile. I have tried deleting the app and re downloading but, although it says it deletes all data, in fact it still retains the profile so I cannot now change it. I wish I could be more excoriating about utterly incompetent this app is. ### 1/5 — Terrible app- shocking lack of customer service! *2022-06-13, version 3.9.8* I can only agree completely with the comments below ! I have been sent 2 tickets by a friend for Semifinals on Friday at Cinch Queens Tournament which never arrived in my account. Ticket agents don’t want to know and LTA offers no personal help to enquiries about ticketing app ! My friend, 81, and I ,72, have been so looking forward to it but after hours on the phone and iPad have now all but given up ! Very sad and disappointing for life long tennis fans 😨 You must offer paper tickets at the venue when evidence of purchase and transfer is provided by us customers . We paid for tickets ! ### 1/5 — Ticketing system *2022-06-12, version 3.9.8* Hopeless for someone without a smart phone. 3 Attempts to contact on the phone number given were unanswered. The “contact us” form is not specific to this problem and when filled and submitted gets a “cannot give you any information” response. I have attempted to create a password and log in only to be informed that no tickets are allocated to my email address despite me receiving an email quoting it from lta. I want my money back and will not be attempting to buy future tickets for lta events. ### 1/5 — Just awful! *2022-06-12, version 3.9.8* The LTA needs to remember that not all tennis fans are techno savvy! This is ridiculous - I’ve been trying to organise accessing my husbands tickets and getting nowhere - you have to have a certain operating system which not everyone has. So confusing! ### 1/5 — Ticket disappears *2022-06-11, version 3.9.8* Use this app at your peril. I downloaded it to get my tickets for Eastbourne tennis (for the finals on 25th June). Two expensive tickets were downloaded. A week later, one has disappeared, to be replace by an exclamation mark. I had not tried to forward the ticket or tampered with it in any way. There is no way to contact the ticket suppliers to get this sorted out. The LTA website doesn’t allow any direct contact either, by phone or email or otherwise. I will persevere, but no ticketing app should leave customers with no support when technical glitches steal their tickets. ### 1/5 — I joined in 2008 & wanted to update my email address *2022-06-10, version 3.9.8* Keep trying to write review but all went into title & now too long but can’t erase! Absolutely hopeless & total waste of time. Now won’t send. Hate you even more. Nothing in FAQs on how to update address - need it for ticket to be sent to my current address. Tried ringing LTA. Told number no longer works & to email - followed by a fast garbled message that is impossible to follow ### 1/5 — Unnecessary *2022-06-10, version 3.9.8* Totally agree with everything in the other review. Totally unnecessary app. Having to register with a case sensitive email address (never heard of such a thing) with a different password than the existing LTA one you bought the tickets with. Then having to close and reopen the app and faff about. Stupid! Whole heartedly agree. App is pointless. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Hideous App *2024-06-22, version 3.2421.5* Hasn’t anyone user tested this app, absolutely appalling 😱 Agreed 😱 Why do you need a verification code every time you sign on to the app. Does the LTA provide free broadband access at all their tournaments? Not everyone has 3G, 4G etc. access. For the publicly subsidised LTA no doubt phones and costs are on expensive accounts ### 1/5 — Unnecessary *2024-06-18, version 3.2421.5* Why is this needed? Every single person going needs a smart phone with the app, give all the data etc.? Also a really awful app to use. Tickets sound just come as pdf email attachments! However this year I’ve been sent an email & told to input a code to access my tickets. BUT there’s nowhere to add the code & the “help / FAQ” links are no use & there’s no “contact us” details, it’s extremely poor. Something has gone very wrong & it’s not good especially with 3 days to go to the start of the grass court season. ### 1/5 — Terrible user experience *2023-11-12, version 3.2332.1* Puzzled as to why if the LTA decided to invest in building a ticketing app, they were satisfied to create such a bad user experience. The onus is on the user to read an email about the workarounds required by the LTA is a result of their poor design. Registering with the same information on the ticketing app as you registered with an LTA account shortly beforehand is irritating. Then when I logged into the ticketing app my ticket QR code was not available, even though it states that my ticket should have become available a few hours earlier. So read a long email, manually input more unnecessary data, only for the tickets not to be there. ### 1/5 — Useless *2023-06-24, version 3.10.0* I’m due to set off for Eastbourne in two hours and my season ticket has still not appeared in the app. It has worked in previous years but at the moment I can only view tickets for past events. Have tried the LTA website but that also says that my tickets aren’t available yet. I hope the box office is fully staffed as I imagine there will be very long queues of people requesting for their tickets to be printed. ### 1/5 — Why do I need another app? *2023-06-23, version 3.10.0* Why do I need another app and account to access a ticket my wife bought… stupid waste of time. No help online, no number to call. I have tried reinstalling the App several times. Go back to the drawing board. ## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — It works *2024-06-24, version 3.2421.5* I'm no fan of the LTA (have they stopped trying to call themselves British Tennis?) but in my short experience this app is good. Remember, it's a ticketing app, that's all. It's simple to download. It takes a while for tickets reach it but I don't think that's the fault of the app. It's easy to find your tickets and easy to transfer them to someone else who also has the app. The tickets won't go into your Apple Wallet but that's because they're PDFs. Honestly, I'm pleased with it. ### 5/5 — Worked perfectly well for me. *2022-06-13, version 3.9.8* Although, single use experience for the Nottingham Open. ### 2/5 — A headache *2022-06-16, version 3.9.8* Registering for the LTA app is a bit of a faff - if you have an existing LTA login, it’s not the same - you need to check which email you used to buy the tickets and make sure you use that one to sign up on the app - the app won’t let you copy/paste your password so choose an easy one - on first login it will tell you there are no tickets, you need to pull down on the tickets tab to refresh it --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
