### 5/5 — Great App

*2014-10-21, version 1.01*

I used the Luach when it was on the PalmPilot obm (of blessed memory) and am now thrilled to be able to use it on my iPhone 4/ ios7. Excellent functionality no matter what time zone you happen to be in. Gr8 job by the creator.

### 5/5 — Its Terrific!!

*2014-10-20*

I am a huge fan of LUACH by Penticon and I am thrilled that it is now available as an Apple APP. I used it many years ago on my Palm. When I switched to an I Phone, I kept my Palm always charged and on my desk just so that I could use LUACH. I have tried a variety of Hebrew calendar programs for the Iphone, but none come even close to LUACH. Besides using it for personal reasons such as candle lighting times and recurring events, I use it to determine dovening time for my Havurah. It is easy to use, and best I can tell very accurate. In short it is TERRIFIC!!

### 5/5 — Yay!!

*2014-09-30*

I held onto my Treo for years, until it was unserviceable, all because I couldn't find a good enough Luach/Calendar replacement. I am thrilled that Luach is back, now on the iPhone!! This is by far the best Jewish calendar out there. Seamlessly interchangeable between Hebrew and regular calendars, with a proper months view. There are a few minor changes I would like see on future updates. All in all this app is great!

### 5/5 — Terrific

A great app that integrates perfectly with my iPhone calendar. All the times are specific for our own town and everything works easily and well. Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — Old Palm and Treo APP "perfected"

*2014-09-28*

Iv'e used this app from Penticon since I had a Palm Pilot and Palm Treo. They have done a terrific job of bring the program up to the 21st century. It does exactly what it should andmore! It allows the user to put in all the important family information that is needed to be sure candles are lit on Yahrzeits, Birthdays are remembered, etc. Can't wait to see iPhone varitions of other penticon APPS.

### 5/5 — Has everything you need!

*2014-09-28*

As a very happy customer of the Luach app on my Palm over a decade ago, I was delighted to see the app make a comeback, by the same Penticon company, on the iPhone.
Luach is obviously much more powerful nowadays. It basically includes everything one needs from a Jewish calendar: dates, holidays, halachic times based on location, etc. I like the color-coding of event types to easily distinguish between them.
Maybe I’m wrong, but I haven’t seen other Jewish calendars which have two-way inclusion with the standard iPhone Calendar app so you can see your regular events in Luach or see your Jewish events in the regular Calendar so everyone can work as they prefer. That’s great!

### 5/5 — .

*2014-09-28*

I've been using this LUACH on my Palm for over a decade & am a huge fan. The iOS version is even better. The way Luach integrates with the iPhone calendar is extremely smooth, I really like the way it allows me to see all my events on one screen. All in all its a great product ! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants the complete Jewish calendar with all Zmanim for anyplace in the world that really works well.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2014-09-24, version 1.00*

This has to be the best App for the Jewish calender. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Excellent app

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I can’t open the App!

*2025-02-01*

I’ve used the free Luach for years with no problems or issues and now it’s a charge to use it I’m unable to open it. Very disappointing.

### 1/5 — Calendar does not work with the main calendar

*2018-12-22*

I bought it track my father’s Yahrzeit. It will not communicate with the main calendar or setup as an independent alert. Waste of money!

### 1/5 — Poor layout

*2017-10-29*

Display is too crowded to be clear.
Important info, such as details of weekly parasha, are not provided.
Overall: poor display layout and poor choice of info.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2014-10-09, version 1.00*

I used to love this app on my palm. Just downloaded it and can not figure it out. Website shows a Shabbat screen, a Chagim screen etc. but these seem to be non existent on my app. Website for the company is amateurish and seems to have no direct avenue to receive help.

### 3/5 — Luach

*2015-01-25*

Pretty good, however, will not configure to Magen Avraham Zmanim. Also it's not really designed as an iPad App. Would help if one could use Landscape orientation, and a Today Widget would make it a complete solution for me. Until then, I can only give it 3 stars.

### 3/5 — New app kinks

*2014-09-23*

I had this app on my palm pilot and loved it. So I was thrilled to see this app. It is not as easy to navigate. I have some issues and don't know how to contact penticon. For example: How do to switch to 12 hour time instead of 24 hour? I will improve my rating when it gets easier to use

### 4/5 — Love the App, but..........

*2019-03-15*

Your candle lighting times are off in many places. I was nearly Mechalel Shabbos 2 weeks ago while in Rancho Mirage, CA. Your times do not reflect Shkiya Nirees as apposed to Shkiya Amitis. Mountains make a difference! This week in Minneapolis you are off by 1/2 hour. Please make some immediate changes before you cause Chilul Shabbos which I know is certainly not your intention.
I had your LUACH with my old Treo and got it again when you came out with the Apple App. Thanks for the good work.

### 4/5 — We

*2014-09-30*

The best there is for hebrew calendar as it was on the palm os. Just can't figure out how to change from 24 hour to am/pm which makes it a bit uncomfortable. If not for this its a 5 star straight.

### 5/5 — Best Hebrew / Civil Luach

*2021-08-29*

This is a great Luach, with many great features, easy to use. But Latest Sh’Ma can’t be set to Magen Avraham for some reason. It’s default to GR”O!

### 5/5 — Works well

*2018-12-20*

Thoughtful design. The best review I can give- it makes me more observant.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2014-12-02*

This app is so great! It is easy to use. I hate not knowing when Shabbat starts and all other apps only show me one week. I love the Yahrtziet reminders they are so useful because that can be so hard to calculate. I hope and iPad vesion comes out soon!

### 5/5 — Great product!!

*2014-11-15*

Luach is so easy to use, and has all the Jewish calendar info I need! I use it every week to check candle-lighting time. This is a must-have for every observant Jew!

### 5/5 — Great app!!!

*2014-10-30*

Just could use a little better explanation on how to import your calendars

### 5/5 — Best Jewish calendar app out there!

*2014-10-23*

I just love this app! So easy to use.. So well designed! Now I always know exactly what time Shabbat is and when all the Jewish holidays are!

### 5/5 — Very solid app

*2014-10-23*

Nice app, bug free. Provides a good view of the Hebrew/secular months and how the coincide. Zmanim are also here if you need them.

### 5/5 — Loving the new Luach even more!!

*2014-10-22*

Thanks Penticon for adding support for 12 hour time format so quickly! As a Palm user who loved Luach, I was thrilled to find out that I can once again use this amazing Jewish calendar app on my iPhone. What a pleasure to be able to import my user events that I had on my Palm into Luach on my iPhone! The Luach app is really nice – easy to use.

### 5/5 — Finally

*2014-10-21, version 1.01*
