The screen recording is super limited and up to 20 screenshots just is a pain in the butt. No way to enter larger meta data about the situation you may be in beyond text messages. The app crashes constantly. The subscription for phone app versus online is also separate, as is the content between each platform. Support is non-responsive. **Developer response:** Thanks for the honest feedback — and sorry you ran into this. Uploads: Lucen supports uploading up to 20 screenshots per upload, and you can also use voice input to add context about your situation beyond just text messages. If there's a different mode of input you'd like for us to support, please let us know and we'll prioritize adding that. Crashes: We did have a spike in traffic right after Valentine’s Day, which caused some temporary stability issues. We’ve been rolling out fixes and monitoring closely. Subscription + content: The subscription is the same across mobile and web, and your account/content should be accessible on both when you’re signed into the same login. Support: Totally fair callout. We’ve been behind on replies during the surge, but we’re catching up and improving response time. We’d really appreciate it if you gave Lucen another chance. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Fraudulent *2026-07-28* They say they’ll give you a free trial but neglect to tell you that it’s only for one day. Then when you try to cancel within the trial period they don’t respond to your emails and still charge you for the full year’s worth of subscription. Now I was fine with that up until I just tried to use my subscription and now it says I need to resubscribe when I should be good until next May. Don’t download this app. It’s truly not worth your time or aggravation. I will be submitting a chargeback with my financial institution. **Developer response:** We’re sorry for the frustration this caused. Signed up in the app. Tried to cancel but it requires a stripe login. When I did the signup I used the option for Apple to hide your email address. I gave the stripe link that email as well as my actual email and neither allows me the ability to login to cancel. Of course the free trial is for one day so by the time someone gets around to helping me I will already be charged. I have done a ton of free trials of apps in the past and this one is absolutely the worst to try and cancel.
