## What is Lucid?

Shutter, ISO, white balance and focus — on real dials, laid out like a camera
body instead of buried in a menu. The viewfinder shows exactly what saves.

Pick the one thing you care about — Aperture-free Auto, Manual, Shutter or ISO
priority — and Lucid floats the rest live as the light moves. One purchase.
No subscription.

WHY LUCID
Most camera apps hand you a filter and a shutter button. Lucid hands you the
camera. Four exposure priorities (Auto, Manual, Shutter, ISO) let you decide
what to control and what to let the camera solve, live. Everything you set,
you see. Everything you see, you keep.

And it's yours. One purchase, no subscription. The camera doesn't stop working
when the month ends.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Shoot full manual: shutter, ISO, white balance, and focus, on real dials
- Choose what you control: Auto, Manual, Shutter or ISO priority — the camera solves the rest, live
- Capture RAW, ProRAW, HEIF, and 48MP, keeping every bit of the file
- Nail focus with peaking and a magnified loupe
- Read your light with a live histogram and zebra stripes
- Grade with Looks: film LUTs previewed live in the viewfinder, baked on capture
- Import your own .cube LUTs
- Pull long exposures, bracket, and set a self-timer
- Save full setups as Profiles and recall them in a tap
- Shoot manual video too: Apple Log, ProRes, and a cinematic 180° shutter

BUILT HONEST
No aperture slider. Your iPhone's lenses have fixed apertures, and faking it
would be a lie. No account. No analytics. No cloud. Your photos never leave
your phone, and location tagging stays off until you turn it on.

ONE PURCHASE. YOURS FOREVER.
Try every feature free. Then unlock Lucid for a single payment: no
subscription, no upsells, no expiry date.

Shoot like you mean it.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.3 — 2026-08-17

The full manual cam now opens on the Lock Screen, and on the Camera Control
button. Dials, RAW and Looks, ready before the phone is.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-08-01

- Auto Macro now hands over to the ultra-wide more reliably at close range,
and stops cleanly instead of hunting back and forth.
- Faster launch straight into the viewfinder.
- Lock Screen captures file into Photos more reliably when the phone stays
  locked for a while.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-07-30

Various improvements & bug fixes.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-28

Lucid now lives on the Camera Control button and on the Lock Screen.

On iPhone 16 and later, choose Lucid in Settings ▸ Camera ▸ Camera Control ▸ Choose App. Press the button to launch it, press again to shoot. A light press brings up zoom, exposure, the A/M/S/I picker, and your Looks, so you can set a shot up without moving your hand off the side of the phone.

The whole camera also runs on the Lock Screen now. Same dials, same reticle, same priority modes, same Looks and saved profiles. Shots you take there move into your photo library on their own once you unlock.

Also new:
A Lucid button for Control Center, the Lock Screen, or the Action Button, opening straight into the viewfinder

The level, rebuilt from the ground up. It reads gravity instead of device roll, so it holds steady with the phone upright, exactly where the old one used to wobble. Runs twice as smooth, gets out of the frame when you tilt on purpose, and switches to overhead crosshairs when you shoot straight down

Still one purchase. Still no subscription. Thanks for shooting with Lucid, tell us what to build next at support@lucidcamera.app

### 1.0 — 2026-07-27
