## What is Lucidapp?

Lucidapp turns your iPhone into a tracing aid for drawing and painting. Pick any
reference image, point your camera at your paper or canvas, and the image stays
locked in place in augmented reality so you can trace it by hand — no light box,
no grid, no printing.

• Place a photo or artwork onto real paper in AR
• Swipe up or down anywhere to fade the overlay in and out
• A dedicated Move tab to scale and rotate it to fit your surface
• Near‑focus tuned so close‑up tracing stays sharp

SEE YOUR REFERENCE LIKE AN ARTIST
• Trace — the original image
• Values — an instant value study to read your lights and darks
• Temp — a warm/cool thermal view to plan color temperature, with a blue↔red bias
• Simplify — flattens detail into clean, painterly shapes

MIX THE EXACT COLOR
• Open Mix and drag across the reference with a magnifier loupe to sample any color
• Get a recipe of YOUR paints — "52% Cadmium Red, 30% Cadmium Yellow…" — using a
  realistic pigment‑mixing model
• Build and save your own palette of the paints you actually own
