## What is LuDo Tasks?

LuDo Tasks is the best way to plan the week you're in. Open it and your whole week is right there — seven days, stacked on one screen. Tap a day, add what you need to do, and get on with it.

No setup. No accounts. No learning curve. Just your current week, at a glance.

HOW IT WORKS

Seven days, always visible, plus an inbox at the top for anything you haven't slotted into a day yet. Tap the checkbox to complete. Swipe to edit or delete — or, with a mouse or trackpad, right-click. Drag tasks between days — or back to the inbox — however your week shifts. A hand-drawn scribble crosses things off, like a paper notebook.

AN HONEST WEEK

At the end of every week, LuDo Tasks resets cleanly. Completed tasks are quietly archived. Unfinished ones don't vanish or turn red with guilt — they flow to the top of next week's inbox, ready to reschedule or let go. Nothing is ever silently lost. You decide what carries over. Own your week — the done and the undone.

BUILT FOR A GLANCE

The whole point: see your week in one look and know where you stand. No digging through menus, no notifications you didn't ask for, no dashboards to maintain. Designed to be opened, read, and closed — then actually used.

PLAN NEXT WEEK, ON SUNDAY

From Sunday, the Sunday card opens next week's board: your pending tasks are already there, ready to place onto the days they belong to. Add what's coming, come back to it all Sunday — Monday arrives already sorted. You can also add a task without opening the app: Siri, Spotlight, the Action Button or the widget.

MORE, ONLY WHEN YOU NEED IT

Keep Personal, Work and more as separate contexts — the same week, seen from different sides. Swipe the WEEK band to switch; each context keeps its own color and its own honest spillover. Set tasks to repeat every week for the things that always come back. Give a task a reminder — its day, an hour, done. Open a task to keep notes and checklists behind its title. On iPad, the week spreads into columns, with your contexts side by side. On the Mac, it lives in a window built for a pointer and a keyboard. On Apple Watch, it's on your wrist. And glance at your week without opening the app, with Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets — free for everyone.

A WEEK FOR TWO

Share one context with one other person — a partner, a flatmate, a teammate. You both see and edit the same tasks, each from your own iCloud account; nothing to set up beyond an invitation link, and ending the share leaves each of you a complete copy. It runs on Apple's iCloud, never on servers of ours — there are none.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Your tasks live on your devices. No accounts. No external servers. No analytics or tracking of any kind. Your data is yours.

SYNCED ACROSS YOUR DEVICES

Your tasks, contexts and settings sync privately between your iPhone, iPad and Mac through iCloud — Apple's own infrastructure, never our servers. Sign in to iCloud and it's on. Prefer to stay on one device? A single switch in Settings turns sync off and keeps everything already there. Free for everyone.

FREE TO TRY — YOURS WITH ONE PAYMENT

Download LuDo Tasks for free and plan your week: the seven days, the honest spillover, the color themes and the widgets are all free. The free version keeps up to three tasks per day — enough for a real week. One simple payment (never a subscription) unlocks unlimited tasks, contexts, weekly repeating tasks, reminders and shared contexts — forever, on every device you own, including every future update.

We will never add subscriptions, and we will never charge for the core of what the app is.

### 5/5 — Minimal and Perfect

*2026-08-28*

I have been using Ludo app for a while now. Started with the free version and then purchased the one time paid version. The developer is very responsive and has been working on adding new features every few days. Recent v1.5 update has tons of features which makes the app very useful. It has reminder notifications for various tasks in a day, weekly planner but at the same time minimal design. Its like using the old Clear App kind of Stacked design for weekly planning.

Its becoming my daily driver. A nice and clear planner which is easy to use.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.5 — 2026-10-13

LuDo Tasks comes to the Mac.

Your week now has a home on the Mac too: the same seven days at a glance, built for a pointer and a keyboard, with Settings in a window of its own. It syncs with your iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud, and the one-time unlock covers it — buy once, use it on every device.

LuDo is now called LuDo Tasks — under the icon, on your watch and everywhere the app says its name.

Also: a task completes only when you tap its checkbox, so a stray tap on the row no longer ticks it off. Repeating tasks in Settings show their days as a small row of circles. Inviting someone to a shared context is now LuDo's own screen, with a QR code to scan. And on iPad with a mouse or trackpad, a task now drags the moment you move it — no long press.

Own your week.

### 1.5.4 — 2026-09-21

Write a list once. Use it whenever you need it.

New in this version: reusable templates. The shopping, the packing, the gym — write the checklist once in Settings › Tasks › Templates, then import it into any task whose detail is still empty. A template brings its content, never the task's name, and it travels between your own devices. Part of the one-time unlock.

Also: open a task and its detail is simply there, ready to edit — no chip to tap first, and the card opens full height. A task with a reminder now wears a small orange pill with its hour, at the right of the row, so you can see when without opening anything.

And the archive is its own place now, at the top of Settings, with archiving what you completed inside it. Plus a detail block that lifts in glass while you drag it, and — on iPad with a mouse — a right-click that opens Edit and Delete.

Own your week.

### 1.5.3 — 2026-09-16

Mostly polish, mostly for iPad — and an orange that glows.

On iPad, the controls above the week number are now one bar: a slider for days or contexts, a row of colour lights for your contexts (tap it to choose which ones show), and two round toggles for task details and Settings. The week number is bigger, and the week's dates sit right under it.

On screens with HDR (recent iPhones, iPad Pro), LuDo's orange now glows above white: the week number, the checkboxes, the dots, the plus buttons. Everywhere else it is the same orange as always.

And a round of small fixes: a swiped-open row stays open until you tap it or scroll, the context pill turns once per swipe, a task you complete on another device no longer buzzes this one, quick capture opens at the right height, the Sunday banner never covers the last task, and the sync dot is amber while it works.

Own your week.

### 1.5.2 — 2026-09-10

One fix, for shared contexts.

When you share a context with someone, a repeating task could end up showing twice on the same day — one copy from each side. LuDo already had a clean-up pass for exactly that, but inside a shared context it was quietly doing nothing. Now it merges the copies on its own, and the one that stays keeps its reminder time.

What you touched by hand is never touched: a task you moved, renamed or completed is left exactly as it is.

Own your week.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-09-02

1.5.1 takes the week to where you already are — the Lock Screen, Control Center, Shortcuts, your notifications — and polishes what 1.5 opened.

• Reminders with actions: Complete, or Remind me in 1 hour, right from the notification. Reminders are Time Sensitive (they can get through a Focus if you allow it) and stack by day.
• Add-task control: put LuDo in Control Center or on the Lock Screen and capture without opening the app.
• Today widget: a new widget listing today's tasks — tick them off right there.
• Shortcuts and Siri: your tasks are now visible to Shortcuts. Add a task with notes and a checklist, complete one, open a day. Pair it with Apple Intelligence: summarize an email and drop its action items into LuDo as a checklist.
• Repeating tasks as templates: a repeating task carries its checklist and reminder hour, and every week's copy is born with them. Edit the template and choose whether this week's remaining copies follow.
• The icon follows your Home Screen — dark, tinted and clear — and so do the widgets.
• iPad: today's column is marked.
• Task text got a subtle typographic pass to read better at a glance.
• Task details: the editor keeps the keyboard while you scroll, the caret always comes back into view, and long checklists chain item after item.

Own your week.
