## What is Luluat Albasra?

The Luluat Albasra Private Schools app is the school's official system, bringing pupils, parents, teaching staff and administration together in one place.
For parents
• Attendance as it happens, with a notification for lateness or absence
• Grades and exam results as soon as they are approved
• Homework and its due dates
• Fees, receipts, instalment plans and the balance remaining
• The school bus tracked on the map while the trip is running
• Direct messaging with teachers and the school office
• Announcements, events and the weekly timetable
For pupils
• Timetable, homework and exams
• Grades and academic record
• The school library and learning resources
For teachers
• Take attendance quickly in class
• Enter grades and publish them once approved
• Set homework and follow submissions
• Behaviour notes and contact with parents
For administration and accounts
• Pupil records, enrolment, promotion and documents
• Finance: fees, collections, expenses and reports
• Staff affairs, payroll and staff attendance
• School transport, buses and subscriptions
• The school clinic and health records
• Library, inventory and assets
• Reports, statistics and user permissions
Location is used only while a school bus trip is active, so families can follow their child's journey safely.
The app works in Arabic and English, and requires an account issued by the school administration.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.2.1 — 2026-10-22

In this update:
• Attachments: homework photos and PDFs open inside the app, with Back and Download buttons. Download opens the file in Safari, where you can save or share it. Files sent in chat open the same way.
• Every homework attachment, voice notes included, has a clear name and its own Download button.
• Fixed a crash when attaching an audio file to homework; the file is now chosen from the Files app.
• Online lectures: leaving a live lecture now asks you to confirm, and lecture cards fit phone screens.
• Long class and section names are easier to read on phones: pickers list the full name, and a long press shows it wherever it is shortened.
• For teachers: homework files and pupils' hand-ins open inside the app, a Back button on the lecture list, and roomier forms on phones.
• For school administrators: a new School Subjects page to add, rename or remove a subject and choose its grades, and timetable periods that already have lectures recorded can now be deleted, keeping their lecture records.
• General improvements and bug fixes.
