## What is Luma?

Luma is a music player for your local collection on iPhone and iPad. No account, no internet connection, no subscription required. Just import your music files from the Files app and Luma organizes everything by artist and album automatically.

FLAC, ALAC, MP3, AAC, and WAV all play natively without any quality loss. Playback continues in the background and can be controlled from the Control Center, via Siri, or with your AirPods.

### 5/5 — THE BEST BUT! Needs..

This Music app is the best for importing your music and listening to them with no ads and no subscription like every other app has. Please keep it that way! 

I was able to import 200+ in a file in less than a minute. BUT! When it imported my file , about half of the songs are imported as something like 
“4D96906E- H820…” bunch of random numbers and letters. So I have to go individually to each song and rename them which takes so much time and effort.. 

ALSO! You can not change the picture/ cover art which I would recommend be a feature that would be awesome so it keeps everything in order .. something like we add a picture from our gallery when editing the info on the song. Because those songs that have the random letters and numbers have the same cover art which is disappointing. 

Other than that this is genuinely a hidden gem , for now. You are also able to change to bass boost and all that without paying for every single feature.

You've caught a real bug: tracks without an embedded title tag were falling back to an internal filename instead of the original one, which is why you saw those random letter/number titles. Habe meine gesamte Sammlung digitalisiert und benutze am Handy nur noch Luma. Super Features, alles durchdacht. Nichts was stört oder unnötig Features. Endlich was gutes!
